We walked 25min from our warm home ( it was little chilly this morning...) to this market this morning and it was worth it! All the veggies and fruits are more than half the price of other market, especially Marché Arceaux. For example - 3 butternut squash, 20 clementines, one bunch of pink garlic ( about 10 bulb or more, 4 Kumato tomato, 2 large red tomato was... 15 Euros! Can you believe that? Don't get me wrong, I love Marché Arceaux but I can't afford it everyday :) If you live here in Montpellier, this market is worth visiting. You have to bring lots of bags to shop!

Came here based on the Michelin star, but found the food a bit disappointing. Granted, I'm just a…read morelowly amateur foodie, but felt some of the flavors were poor. The black olive ice cream was inedible, the meat to vegetable ratio was minimal (smoked swordfish to asparagus), and my favorite soft cheese was "off." (Over smoked and over peppered?). The ambience felt like a large dining hall and was a bit sterile. Service was good but slow. The bread and focaccia was excellent. Overall, our party of four was a bit disappointed for the price to food quality.

Michelin star restaurant with finesse and care. Rouget was the best dish (very light and airy)…read morealong with mille feuille (Finally we are in Europe where desserts are not too sweet and right portioned). Come here before dinner to have a drink on the terrasse and have an aperatif while the sun sets and watch the kayakers roll by in the canal.
