Garbage firm with no integrity. I can almost guarantee they threw our case intentionally, assuming for financial gain from the interested party. During our initial consultation we very clearly spoke about our intentions of changing the average weekly wage, we go into court and this dipsh*t agrees to the previous wage that he KNEW was not accurate. So we get out of court and tell him to object and he says" no I think we can get them to do the right thing outside of court" never does anything about it, denies our calls. Screwed us out of getting the proper wages. Then eventually we ask about filling for c-60s (travel reimbursement) and they told us we weren't able to file those. We'll we fired their crooked a**es, filed them ourselves and received thousands of dollars from it. No attorney with that lengthy of a resume can be that bad, the only thing that makes sense is throwing the case intentionally. I've used Charles Boyk law services for quite a long time now. They've always been extremely courteous, professional and they go way out of their ways to help you out or just answer some questions. I'll never leave this office and wish now I'd taken pre law in college and maybe have a chance to work alongside them. I refer people to this office if they need his services. Unfortunetly, Mr Boyk was unable to get a good settlement amount back for our injuries. We were hit head on, both cars totaled... and was found not liable for the accident.. Needless to say, over 3 dozen lawyers contacted us after the police report became public. BUT we had already found Boyk on google and started physical therapy..Now, for our pain , suffering and lost wages Boyk office settled for a $2,000 a piece.. no jk.. That's it.. and the case dragged for months which means Med Bills went unpaid for a while which led to late fees adding up & collections in the process... Finally, we went in to sign for our small checks & the office lady named Cindy Tried to add an Addition Fee to take what little they got us back?!? I told her NO "that wasn't the original agreement" and I REfused to sign...(even though i was scared because now it felt like their office was fighting us) BUT she quickly changed the contract back! Praise God! How could she??!? We got outta there quick! After all we had been through.. it was like pulling teeth to get that lil check. I cant recommend this office.. but i wish them well! Mr Boyk was extremly lax on my case and i felt he did the MINIMUM when it came disputing w the insurance company of the GUILTY party. I was hit head on in a collision which left both cars totaled. I was Rushed to ER & spent several weeks in theropy w/out pay. Boyk got me a laughable $2,000! No JOKE! This barley covered my time off work pay.. How could this be...? I wasn't at fault but the victom.To Top it off his office tried to add fees at the end to take the little bit of money that i did get. It sad how they did even pay my bill til a year later. This went on my credit report and accumulated interest which their office didn't pay. they were negligent with my case and I lost thousands of dollars that was due to me... I could have negotiated better on my Own and gotten a better settlement ..2 dozen Other lawyers in the area contacted me and asked if they could take my case for free.. I mistakenly chose Boyks' office.. Please take this as the warning ..i never got. Dont use that office! :( They will leave u standing w unpaid bills ..low settlement and a headache. read more
