I encourage some other homeowner's association to hire him since he has done way more than we deserve. He once put a reporter in his place. A very fine job! Threatened to bury him or some such thing. I'm sure he meant bury in a legal sense. I think that's a word lawyers often use when they aren't really thinking about shoveling dirt. Of course, that caused some bad press for the association and got our association written up as a bullying HOA. But it was a fine bit of lawyering! He really got rid of that guy! He successfully maneuvered and distorted our rules to ensure the current board could stay in power with convoluted legal reasoning that would make any lawyer proud! The way he shut down debate on that one and made sure no one could question his reasoning? Masterful! That was some spectacular lawyering! Please, hire him, with a big contract! He will certainly do all he can to keep your board members in place and do all he can to ensure that any board members who try to make things better are run off the board. He's really great at that! You won't find a better lawyer! He may even help you rig a board election! And, no way will anyone suspect a thing. No siree! Not with Jeff! He's the best lawyer you will find. I'm not saying he rigged one of our elections, because if he had, no one would be the wiser, and I certainly am not wise at all. I'm just sure he could, if that's what you need. You will not find a better lawyer! But, he's really too good of a lawyer for our peaceful community. We need a lawyer who is less of a winner and more of a conciliator. Please hire him! He's really great! Way too good a lawyer for our community.

After having hired two other firms to represent me in my highly contentious divorce, I felt…read moredejected and financially drained without an end in sight. Out of desperation to protect my children, I sought out another firm to represent me and was referred to Herbert & Weiss by a friend. My entire experience in the divorce process was finally set on the right track and ultimately settled in my favor as a result. From the beginning, Helene helped put my mind at ease. She took great care in attention to detail, making sure she truly understood every aspect of my case along with what was important to me, which involved the custody of young children, child support, division of marital assets, and my ex-husband's request for spousal support. Helene had the knowledge and fortitude necessary to ask the right questions and use the appropriate information to benefit my case and bring settlement to fruition. More importantly she did an amazing job keeping me informed and teaching me about the overall process to ensure I was comfortable and well-informed at all times. Helene is courteous, patient, and simply a wonderful human being with strong ethics, which is hard to come by these days. Don't be misled by her pleasant demeanor, I was amazed to watch Helene in action. She really knows when to turn it up and how to work around the strengths and take advantage of the weaknesses of her opposition. I was proud to have her by my side then, and still turn to Herbert & Weiss for all my legal matters, including updating my Will, Real Estate transactions, Child Support issues, and more. Honesty and integrity permeate Helene's personality and work ethic. It was evident in the court house that she is highly respected by her own peers and judges and I was extremely fortunate to be represented by such fine counsel during my divorce..

Despite repeated requests over a period of years beginning in 2011, I have received not one piece of paperwork on what was done with the estate. By law there should be a list of all assets and debts provided: a full accounting is required. Obviously Mr Vivino is aware of the requirements of the law. My son's Audi and his boat were picked up the month after his death. Both were sold and I never was able to get an accounting of the money received. I have no idea of what else was left from my son's estate, if anything. Possibly there was property and of recent information a trust left by his grandfather and other items. Eventually I tried to have the administrator removed. Mr Vivino prepared an agreement for me to sign which, among other items, gave the administrator freedom from responsibility for any actions taken. I had no record of the actions that were taken and was not going to assume all responsibility of actions I knew nothing about. Mr. Vivino's client sent threats about what "his lawyer was going to do to me" as well as what "the judge at the lawyer's office would do to me". Mr Vivino ignored these as well as the pornographic nasty texts his client sent. There was one more matter to take care of, a retirement account of my son's. I sent a copy of the threatening and pornographic texts Mr. Vivino's client had sent me that Mr. Vivino had refused to hear stating "I was not his client". After reading my letter, he agreed to help resolve this with the administrator. I sent Vivino's office all paperwork from the account. I called and was told he was working on it and I should call back. I called back and nothing had been done. Mr. Vivino was rude, impolite, and uninformative. He said to call back in a month. After 6 weeks I called. I called 5 times on 5 different days. Each time I was promised he would return the call. Giving up on the matter I wrote the previous review on YELP. Then Mr Vivino found time to call me back. Not about the issue but to ask if I would remove the review. He also mentioned how much this time was costing and he would be billing the estate. I had hoped this money, if ever recovered, would go to my son's cousins. I want none of it. Seems like everything else it will go to the administrator and Mr. Vivino and I will have NO accounting of anything. All I wanted is the records as required by law. You decide if you wish this man to represent you.
