Ordered the pork steak (served on a loaf of bread(?)), tomato soup, and some sort of grilled sandwich. They were all great, I love them. I'd order another bowl of tomato soup if I wasn't full already. It had whipped cream on it which I actually hate but hey, it was delicious anyway. The pork steak had some caramelized onions with some sauce that Idk what. I'm not much of an onion fan but the one they served earlier was good. They know what they are doing. As for the sandwich, it wasn't my meal but my boyfriend was happy with it, so I guess it was good! The price and portion were reasonable. The man who served us which I assume was the owner spoke some English. He's very helpful and nice. I'd love to come back again. I'll try to, they are worth another visit.

The choice of food here is limited and that was slightly disappointing. Most of their items are cold and a handful of items are warm. Service here is quite ok and the staff are friendly. If you want a proper Bavarian meal this will not be a great stop for you. But if you want "Brotzeit" items like cheese, cold meats or mehlspeise like Kaiserschmarrn then you should be ok. I will come back here again as I love the area. However if I am after good food in the mountains then I will probably walk the extra 45 mins and walk to Neureuthalm, closer to Tegernsee :-))
