I used to go to the Sachi Sushi Japanese restaurant next to the Andaman Thai restaurant in the plaza that is now closed. There was also Filipino Papaya Grill that is also now closed as well as the Firehouse No 37 and Teaspoon are all no longer there. L & L Hawaiian BBQ is taking over where Teaspoon was located. The Imperial Delight, The Clove Indian cuisine, haircut place called Mimi's cuts, Learning Express toy store and Anderson Bakery are all still there. I shop at Trader Joe and get ice cream at Cold Stone often, so glad at least both business are still there. My Gym, Sport Clips Haircuts, and Digby's premium donut are all still around as well as Starbucks Coffee. My Gym is a great place to get the kids there to stay active. It looks like Andaman Thai restaurant is going to move over to where the Firehouse No 37 used to be soon. I hope other businesses will come here to fill up all the vacant lease soon. I think it would be nice for the Market Place Shopping Plaza to put some holiday decorations like Christmas Tree or other decors to make the plaza more festive and inviting for the holidays. Let's go Market Place Shopping Center of San Ramon!

This is a Asian mall with many restaurants and offices ( hair cut , dental, bank , Japanese,…read moreChinese , Mediterranean, Korean , Vietnamese, etc ) The location was on the earthquake fault line . A few years back then , there was some medium earth quake so the concrete floor had many cracks after the earthquake. They hire an artist to decorate those crack lines into plants , flowers and some California scenic places. It was very creative and they did a good job . I am posting some of the paintings here . Koi Palace Dublin is located on the same parking mall . We have dim sum lunch. Steamed shrimp rice roll Cold appetizer: steamed mushroom tofu skin wrap Salt and pepper silver fish Deep fried tofu in sauce 5/5 for the food , service and ambience .

Before there was Pacific Pearl, Dublin Ulferts Center was THE place to be for the Asian community…read moreto hang out, go get Chinese baked goods, have ramen, get desserts, experience different culinary types, and even do karaoke. Dublin Ulferts Center certainly still retained its good reputations but it's been kinda slowly getting pushed to the side by the much newer Pacific Pearl. Some shops that used to be at Ulferts but now have moved to Pacific Pearl such as Snowflakes (traitor! Lol kidding of course), and some of my favorite restaurants that used to be here have sadly closed - such as Taiwanese restaurant Liang Mama, Szechuan restaurant Happy Family, and hotpot place Halu Shabu Shabu. However, the plaza as it currently is I think still offers a decent variety of good food options - you'd find here Kee Wah Chinese bakery, Fujiwara ramen, my favorite Thai restaurant Thai Basil Express, and probably the most famous of all would be the Dublin Koi Palace for their outstanding dim sum. Another restaurant that in my opinion has really helped keep this plaza afloat is Tasty Pot. This plaza has a pretty spacious parking space, extending all the way to the back of it, making it so much easier now for customers to find parking. It is conveniently located on Dublin boulevard and is very easy to spot. The place is generally pretty clean and organized, and I really like the water fountain they put right at the center of the plaza. Come check this place out if you're ever out here in Dublin.

I think since all the looting and smash and grabs and pandemic nonsense I really don't enjoy shopping at all anymore in most east bay cities. The shopping here is as good as it gets. When you walk into a store or restaurant people look at you as a customer not like a kriminal. Its not that far from Castro Valley and you might consider driving a few extra miles to get here. Safeway has all those irritating coupons - I much prefer Trader Joes or Whole Foods just because there isn't so much nonsense and price games being played. Armadillo Willy's is great though. Its a no fuss place that is affordable. The best food possible for the lowest cost. They cut out the servers and and 'special service' to get these rock bottom prices. Frankly I don't need people irritating me and asking me 'how I'm doing' when my mouth is full and I just took a bite. When I get my Truck serviced at the Chevy dealer I usually to the BBQ joint. When I'm done eating I usually get a phone call that its done. I love that dealership. I get to visit with their little kitty kat, Miss Chevy. She is so friendly and loves to greet the customers.

The entrance into and out of the lot is not very well thought out. One entrance from Dublin Blvd. is in the middle of the block so cars traveling east must make a u-turn to enter. The second entrance is through the back so cars have to wind their way through the side parking lot to get to the front of the stores. There is often a bottleneck when cars from the 2 Dublin Blvd. entrances converge. The only access with a straight shot from the road is the 3rd entrance on Tassajara.

There are some stores on the inside with the majority of the eateries facing outward on the first floor. During the week, it was nice to walk around the shops as they weren't too crowded. They have a number of your typical retailers like anthropologie, madewell, sephora and west elm. There are a number of really great food options so it's a good place to go if you're feeling hungry. Parking is free, but kind of confusing! There's only one entrance into the parking structure in the back and once you're inside, it can be really hard to remember where you parked. The parking area isn't well marked and because of the way it's set up, it's really easy to forget where you've parked your car. You have to go down a hallway to enter into the actual shopping area and they all look identical. Try to keep tabs on this so you don't end up circling around like me!
