This Côte-des-Neiges location also has outdoor seating on a deck out front. Be advised, a large coffee to go was dinky compared to standards I'm used to, (see pic,) especially compared to the sizable bowl serving when dining in (see pic). My favorite pastry so far is the scrumptious, sublime Passion Dulce - a shortbread cookie, topped with sponge cake, garnished with a combination passionfruit, banana, mango purée, coated with a fruit icing flavored similar to the purée, then decorated with cream of Dulcey chocolate and roasted sesame seeds. Wow! Had also a taste of my friend's fruit cheesecake. Nice! Also, when picking up for breakfast, explored a savory pastry Pâté Lorrain filled with assorted meats. While tasty and may be traditionally prepared, the filling had a little too much fat for my taste, noticeable even when warmed up. The staff was friendly, although (a very minor issue) on one occasion the lady behind the counter who said she personally will get us our coffee was not the one who made it in the end, also delayed with a bottleneck at the machines. That being said, I'd definitely recommend stopping by a Première Moisson for a bite or picking up something baked.

If you are visiting the market this is a delicious option for lunch, it's just a tiny counter with a ton of homemade sausages but they are always grilling some of their best and you can get them loaded up with kraut and hot peppers and mustards and a lovely toasted bun to walk around with, or park yourself on a stoop or picnic bench in the sun to people watch and enjoy the many live musicians who busk here. If you are preparing a BBQ make this a stop for sure - these are exceptional big fat tasty sausages of all kinds and flavours. Inside the shop you'll find a number of their wonderful sausages for sale, some cold-cuts, patés and other items. We had the Maple and Bacon sausage tonight, and found it delicious, cooking it the way the helpful associate suggested. Indeed it was quite a memorable soirée, with their little creations adding to it (despite a cleanup effort that took hours). What a delectable spread of mini pastries (that in most cases were able to be cut in four and shared). I'm pretty sure each person would have gobbled up one of each if they had the opportunity, but since there were over a dozen of us, some important sacrifices were made. A sample plate was put aside for the host's Mom - no one would argue with that respectful gesture - as none had extra stomach space either. None were less yummy than the other, but if I had to choose some stand-outs adorned by a P or perhaps it was a P.A.T. inscribed in chocolate. Perhaps the best Passion fruit filled square I can ever recall. A well stuffed mini lemon pie (thick mousse style). Circular blueberry, strawberry and kiwi (in a swirl design) topped custard tarts. A most delicious mixed square 'o nuts in a sweet dark goo (not the technical way to describe it, but you get the idea right!). *mainly well placed cashews. Mini square shells filled with various versions of smooth sugar pie filling. Note: This review is only with respect to the actual pastries, and not the location or it's service.
