With a previous dog in Boise, I had a different vet and I always felt like my dog was just a number. Our dogs don't have a specific doctor at "All Creatures," but each visit and every doctor has been wonderful. Even though at times they are pretty busy, patience has paid off; I've never felt rushed in order to free the exam room for the next client. The pups have been in for vaccinations, regular check ups, and even x-rays. Each time the staff has been professional and polite, always making sure that I understood the procedures they are performing, or medications being sent home with us. This year I became a first time cat owner and the doctors were very helpful in providing information on how to socializing him with our dogs. Unfortunately, at just a few months old he had to have surgery on his hip. I was pleasantly satisfied with how successful the surgery was and even more importantly it was very affordable.

I…read moreknow of one particular veterinarian Dr Laura Jensen, whom I have seen at least 10 times and I have proof of medications prescribed, yet the internet will tell you that that doctor does not work there. Why the secrecy? I don't know but my nickname for Dr Laura Jensen is Miss cold heart. And she's never spent more than two to three minutes in a room with you, and never introduces herself, never comes back to explain medications, she leaves that up to the technicians who often do not come back to tell you so they leave it up to the front desk. The front desk forgets to tell you about the antibiotics that were prescribed. Instead they lay in the bottom of the bag only to be found months later. After seeing a fill in veterinarian, who was very kind and compassionate when he diagnosed my dog with terminal cancer did I realize how much I was missing having a relationship with your veterinarian and the dog that you love. No way was I going to let Miss coldheart euthanize my beloved pet. In fact, this Clinic has become so cold and seemingly uncaring I am moving to a a different Veterinarian Practice all together. I have been going to All Creatures since they opened, there exam fees were extremely reasonable at that time but now I find they are totally compatible with anybody else. I would much rather pay a higher fee and have a compassionate doctor that is also competent and explains the medications then go back to All Creatures

First and foremost, you are NOT allowed to stay with your pet during the exam or treatment. I was asked by the tech if I wanted them to just go ahead and euthanize my cat before they took her from me to take into the back and do their drills on her. I can't begin to list all the inhumane actions... Just avoid them like the plague! They should be closed down!
