I normally do not post these reviews but this is extremely important. There are Graphic Videos of Animal Abuse taken of you training that are absolutely heartbreaking. Those of you who have dogs know that it can be frustrating training. Curb stomping, beating, picking a dog up and slamming onto the ground any dog while training is UNEXCEPTIONABLE. Jeb Johnson at Chaotic Retrievers 208. you have had multiple charges of animal cruelty, and beating charges showing evidence of videos that were pled down to disturbing the peace a $1K fine and 2 days in jail. As of now, Mr. Johnson, you continue to train and your business is still up and running. You are currently facing a current hunting charge and have had previous charges as well. You have had a charge of aiding in a misdemeanor, and trespassing in other separate cases. Cat's Romeo, a 15 month old Chesapeake Bay was left in your hands. Mr Johnson, to be trained. The owners trusted you. Roemo never came home. He died there with you and not in a good way. There is currently an active lawsuit against you for the death. As of yet, no criminal charges have been pressed against you by the state of Idaho on this claim. There are many amazing responsible, knowledgeable and kind trainers still out there who have the knowledge to train in a positive way, with the use of a long line and not using the e collar incorrectly. If you consider abuse of animals "training" then by all means, give this business your money. There are multiple videos of the owner abusing dogs in his so called "training" sessions all over social media. He was charged for this abuse and got a slap on the wrist. I think all trainers should be educated on acceptable training methods and require them to be licensed. I wouldn't let him near my dogs, or children for that matter. I recommend hiring a professional, certified trainer. Sadly, while it is possible to get officially certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), there are no state or federal requirements for a dog training business license, so anyone can qualify." This is an update to what I originally said months ago and that is, although I'm not an advocate right now, I'm doing all that I can to be a voice for the voiceless and especially with dogs and any other living beings that can't speak for themselves like we can as humans beings, and call out any injustice when I see it happening and do whatever it takes to protect my fellow human beings and animals alike. I would give negative stars if that were possible! This person has been charged with animal cruelty for stomping on a dogs head, kicking, and beating it. There is an actual video showing him doing this and it is horrific!! He is also being sued by a prior client because he killed their dog during training! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use his service and make sure to let everyone you know to do the same! He should be banned from even owning a dog let alone having this Company. Makes me sick! read more

Jeb Johnson with Chaotic Retrievers is a known animal beater. There are many videos online showing him kicking, stomping, and beating the different dogs he's training. Throughout training the dogs sound like they're screaming. Seeing videos of this man's operations had me actually crying. I hope this business gets shut down and this person is no longer allowed to compete. read more
