Nothing but the best experiences with the staff and Doctors for my bird dogs "Gretchen and Katie" for all their health needs.

I absolutly DO NOT recommend this place! In fact, I'll be leaving this review in multiple places in hopes that it will save someone else from what we've dealt with at this establishment and being "raked over the coals" multiple times. We had been customers at this veterinary office for YEARS up until recently. There have been and still great people that work there and we know other people who are still customers there and probably always will be. But, we've decided to take our business elsewhere due to the HIGHLY unprofessional and rude behavior that the staff has started exhibiting on a regular basis. We've spent thousands of dollars here and hundreds of it was unnecessary. We've caught the owner himself running unneeded tests and blood work so he could slap us with a bill reaching almost $500 dollars after not even being in the office for two hours. We also used to spend hundrends of dollars on prescriptions here each month until we caught a clue and started getting them from a ACUTAL Pharmacy which cut our prescription bill in half and then some. I've also had a few instances now that I can't even receive a return call from the Office Manager. Also, they've went through several receptionists that don't have great customer service skills or are just rude in general and prefer to talk over you rather then listen to what you have to say. It seems like their only polite when they can get your money. We use to buy everything here, including $100 forty pound bag of dog food every couple months among other things. But, that doesn't mean anything to them... customers are what make a business and that relationship with some of their customers isn't important to this business at all. There have been changes in management over the last couple years. There have been some amazing people that have worked here and there are some kind hearted people that still work here which is why I'm listing names because someone who has done nothing wrong doesn't deserve to pay for the unprofessional and down right rude behavior by those listed below. *Dr. Varriale - Owner/Veterinarian *Dr. Ewing - Veterinarian *Amy - Office Manager *Sue - Receptionist - Carlie M

When my family and I had to say goodbye to our family pet, Snake River staff took care of our Rocky in the most loving and caring of ways.

Ontario Animal Hospital - Always fun checking in!

I just moved to Ontario and my small yorkie was having an allergy emergency. Ontario Animal…read moreHospital got him in right away and took complete care of him. The Doctor was extremely knowledgeable about local allergies in small dogs and prescribed medication that immediately improved my dog's condition. Most importantly, OAH took the time to obtain my dog's prior vet records to provide a comprehensive review. The facility also has boarding and grooming which I will be trying out shortly. Highly recommend!!

They are here to make money and that's it no care for animals and disgusting customer service. I want to make note that one particular employee who made our experience disastrous was Irene, the front desk receptionist. So I've boarded my Great Pyrenees here before, not more than 10 months ago so when we needed boarding services here again I thought, why not. Dang. When my fiancé brought our dogs in, they check them in and everything seems fine until Irene tells my fiancé the dogs vaccines are outdated and that we needed $200 worth of shots for them to stay. No effing way. Both of the dogs' shots were up to date, and she tried telling my fiancé that DAPP did not include the dog flu vaccine which it does. I immediately called my regular vet in Boise, and were told that the shots Irene was telling us we needed were unnecessary. This was after we got the dogs in...my question is why didn't you do your job and call our vet to get records beforehand (like many dog boarding services do)? Why did you wait after we got the dogs in and then tell us they need $200 worth of shots? And WHY WHY WHY WOULD YOU ASK "DO U JUST WANT US TO GIVE HIM WHAT HE NEEDS?" without being completely transparent about the details and costs? I'm so glad my fiancé stopped right there to do his due diligence.

I've come here a few times and I have been happy with the quality of service. They are a little pricey but they seemed to be open to give approx quotes over the phone which I appreciated. I'm not 100% about this, but it appeared as though one of their exam rooms had an alternate, private exit. I think some vets are starting to implement this for families that have to put their animal down and don't want to walk through the waiting room in front of other people after the procedure is done. I'm not certain if this is actually a thing, but maybe ask them because if it is, I think it's a nice and thoughtful touch.

I could tell my Lop Ear who lives outside in a run with his buddy was definitely in trouble on Monday morning. He didn't come eagerly for his treat and was huddled down. Because weather was bad, I decided to bring him inside so I could watch him. I called Habitat to see if they could get him in. Dr. Lee was in surgery all day. The office person suggested I call Boise Animal Health and Urgent Care which I did. The person taking the call said they weren't expert bunny vets but, after I explained his critical symptoms, said to bring him in. Dr Jenkins was amazing. She listened to what treatment I was giving him based on what I reviewed on line. His condition appeared to be GI Stasis which can be deadly within 24 hours. They X-Rayed him, gave him a thorough exam, including a subcutaneous injection for moisture, some pain meds and told me they would email records to Habitat. Scout, my bunny continued to improve. On Thursday I had a previously scheduled routine visit at Habitat for my canary. They were very busy and I was thankfully immediately escorted to a room with my canary. Dr. Lee entered about 20 minutes late and did the routine visit with my canary. I had told the tech that I would like to have a few minutes to chat with Dr Lee about my rabbit Scout. I was told they would charge me for an additional visit. I said fine. When I tried to tell Dr. Lee about Scout she told me that she couldn't advise me about anything because they didn't have a file on him....which was correct. Emails received for patients not on file went to la la land (my words). I was on the verge of tears. Never mind that I had taken my old bunny Clove to their previous location for ultrasound and other pain relieving procedures during Covid. I never went inside the clinic. I met the tech Angie in the parking lot there who said he was the gentlest bunny ever. Never mind that I had taken in a bunny, Peter, who I found abandoned in the North End, and took him to Habitat to be neutered. He died coming out of anesthesia. I believe Dr. Lee was the surgeon. Never mind that Dr. Everett did minor surgery on my 4+ pound Netherland Dwarf Tinamarie. I was so worried about past experience with anesthesia. She did fine. And yesterday Dr.Lee couldn't spend five minutes with me about Scout because there was no file? Luckily the kind tech said I could set up a file for Scout on my way out which I did. The desk person set up the file and said she would request Scout's records immediately from Boise Animal Health and Urgent Care. I called BAHUC this morning. They said they had not received a request from Habitat but had their email address, would send records and copy me. I messaged Habitat. They received them. And that is the end. Sorry this review is so lengthy. I just wanted to share my frustration trying to get help with a clinic that I trusted for years with my bunnies.
