The food was a pleasant surprise, with an array of options suitable for international travelers plus an assortment of local cuisine for the adventurous palate. We spent a day in the charming village of Kitzbuhel, which is only a half mile walk from the resort. This a perfect resort and spa to spend the summer relaxing or winter skiing…read more Unfortunately the weather was too mild in December to ski, but the hotel and Kitzbühel are beautiful. The lounge area is phenomenal and looks so chic, and a great place to wind down after a day skiing or sightseeing. The bedrooms are designed wonderfully and the bathroom with the walk in shower was great. The spa is great and has a range of amenities, such as sauna and a pool that leads outside. It is the perfect place to relax. Tea is offered to guests to aid their relaxation. One can rent ski equipment at the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, offering a full breakfast buffet and champagne. All cooked to perfection, especially the omelettes! Room service was convenient but the food (burger and crisps) was nothing out of the ordinary.
