Specialties
Founded by Jenny Arussi, MS, RDN, Change My Eating is a one-of-a-kind, nutrition education and behavior modification learning center for general and bariatric weight loss and maintenance. Through individual and group counseling programs, Change My Eating uses proven clinical and evidence-based methods to educate people on changing their eating. Together, Jenny and her clients work to create attainable lifestyle changes for lasting weight loss and good health.
Additionally, Jenny offers the innovative Thinking, Feeling and Eating Group to help you uncover and process the thoughts and feelings contributing to your unhealthy relationship with food and eating. The group's premise assumes that how we think strongly influences how we feel and behave/act. Each group meeting is psychologist-led by an experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Karin Schwartz, PsyD.
History
Established in 2014.
In launching Change My Eating, Jenny brings with her a wealth of clinical experience from treating thousands of patients at Cedars-Sinai's Center for Weight Loss and The Diabetes Outpatient Treatment and Education Center. As one of Cedar's top level dietitians for over 10 years, Jenny had the rare opportunity to develop and evolve the pre + post-bariatric and weight management programming. Working with surgeons, physicians, social workers and other weight loss professionals, Jenny quickly became the go-to dietitian for patients with serious doubts of their ultimate weight loss success.
Jenny also works towards staying sharp with nutrition science fundamentals through teaching Nutrition Science at Santa Monica College.
