Katherine is compassionate, kind, non judgmental, patient, and so incredibly full of knowledge. She may also be a mind reader, she is always able to dissect my messy thoughts perfectly into something that is more condensed for me to understand better. Her approach is so human & kind and her knowledge is so powerful. She questions your negative thoughts without judgement, she lets you realize on your own that maybe what you're saying isn't true, but is important to acknowledge anyway. I can tell she can curate a very specific healing experience for anyone she works with, she cares & also let's you take control of where you want the session to go if you want/need to. Therapy isn't always fun, but I truly felt I was always taking the right steps forward with Katherine. She has made such a positive impact on my life in the short few months I've been working with her. although everyone is different & has different needs from mental health professionals & therapists, i so highly recommend working with her, I feel so incredibly lucky to have crossed paths with her. especially when I was in such a dark place and convinced I would never find a therapist that I truly felt comfortable & seen & understood by.

I had the wonderful experience of having my first session with Stephanie Vanden Bos;…read moreI must state with great conviction that I have never encountered such a caring and compassionate human being , let alone a therapist. It's not just that she actually listens , but she gets involved and her empathy glued from her. It creates a boundary of warmth and caring and compassion. It's like an emotional shield protecting me. It gave me the power to discuss and bring up such difficult issues that would have taken months to touch. He empathy radiates from her with such benevolence , you not only feel safe , you know you are safe. In that it's an environment that promotes healing instantly.

It doesn't try to be a country home, nor does it feel clinical (like a doctor's office would). Ms. Vanden Bos is not only a good listener, but she gives very reasonable, unbiased advice and practical feedback. She isn't just there to listen and be a sounding board, she asks thoughtful questions and gets to the heart of issues--and helps you determine next steps in solving or resolving them. My first meeting was a 10 out of 10, and I most highly recommend Stephanie Vanden Bos as someone to meet with and talk to about just about anything.

I was referred to Priya and Vedic Synergy through a friend in early 2020, before the pandemic hit…read more I have been through years of traditional therapy and just felt I needed something more and finally decided to take my friends advice and reach out to Priya. I didn't know much about the Ayurveda practice and I'm still learning. What I do know is that meeting Priya has changed my life. I suffer from anxiety, I don't know how to relax, I'm hard on myself just to name a few and well then you throw in a pandemic and it could have been very easy to just fall apart this year. I really feel I met Priya at the perfect time. From our very first session, Priya was able to get me to dig deep and talk about a subject that is very difficult for me. We had a breakthrough that years of therapy never provided for me. From there we moved on to family, career, relationships and interestingly enough ME, a person I don't speak of often. How interesting, right? I also learned about doshas, shakras and started a meditation practice along with reading daily affirmations and writing a gratitude list. I would never have thought I had time for this before meeting Priya and now it's part of my daily routine. Priya is non-judgmental, compassionate and one of the kindest women I have ever met. I highly recommended investing the time in yourself to work with her. The benefits have helped me greatly, especially during these trying days.

Going to a certified therapist has helped so much more. I think back to things Priya would say during our sessions and I get angry about it. Be careful about who you listen to for advice. I initially wanted a spiritual mentor because I feel I am a spiritual person. But looking back now, l feel that Priya has a very short sighted approach to life. Not only was her approach not suitable toward me but her approaches even exacerbated some of my problems. A certified therapist was able to identify the causes and appropriate treatment a lot better. I don't want others to make the same mistakes I did.

She gave us so much insight, but most importantly, she gave us the gift of Reiki - that I practice daily on myself and intend to practice on others in the future it has been an interesting and motivating experience, and I would recommend that if you are looking into Reiki for yourself or to work with others - to work with Jissel. As someone who is not new to spirituality, I felt very confident when working with her. She knows what she's doing and that made me feel like I'll be sharp in no time. Thankful for the gift of Reiki.

I would recommend Matt entirely to anyone who is looking for a couples therapist. My husband and I…read moresaw Matt for a number of months in 2017. We had gone to another therapist the year before and had struggled to get anywhere but within a few weeks of seeing Matt both of us felt a lot better about how we were communicating and being in our marriage. Matt is kind, very thoughtful in how he asks questions and offers suggestions and is able to hold space for both the good and bad aspects of your marriage. We were both super ready to do the work - which I'm sure helped - but still, like I said, we had been ready with the last guy and ended up feeling super frustrated by our lack of progress. I don't know what you call his particular brand of therapy but he was great at: creating a safe space for both of us to talk, reflecting back to us what the other might be saying or feeling, not taking sides (so important with couples therapy), giving us practical suggestions to get through the week and helping us to think through how we wanted our relationship to ultimately look like. We've already recommended him to several of our couple friends and i would do the same again. He's s wonderful person and an excellent therapist.

I particularly liked how he called it the way he saw it, but was still open to other possibilities.
