His experience working with children has helped me develop as a better father, which has had a great impact on my marriage as well. My husband…read morestarted weekly therapy with Bill about 2 years ago; every so often I would join him and a few months ago I started my own weekly sessions. The work my husband has done through his therapy with Bill has been like a miracle. It has helped both of us to better understand and connect with our children. Before we started our sessions with Bill, our house was chaotic. There was constant yelling and screaming, by us and by our son. He was kicking and punching and we didn't know how to stop it nor did we understand why it was happening. It's unbelievable, the impact Bill has had on all of our lives. We are all calmer, we communicate more, we identify our feelings, and we are so incredibly happy. We talk all the time about how far we have come and how much better our lives are. It has not only bettered our relationship with our children, it absolutely saved our marriage. Bill is so insightful and caring, and he's had an amazing way of getting us both to open up and see things about ourselves we did not see or did not fully understand. He's very kind, and he's also very honest which is so important when you truly want to better yourself. My most recent therapy session with Bill was wonderfully productive; he gave me some advice and as I was leaving my session, he implored me to actually make the changes I needed to, in order to improve my life. I made a change that very evening and I've had an amazingly productive weekend and am feeling so much more at ease than I had been. Bill is just an incredible therapist, I cannot speak highly enough of him. If you are looking for someone to talk to, he can truly better your life.

It is emotionally draining and was (in my case) months of fear, panic, anger, and depression. As a father of three, I couldn't imagine a single day where I couldn't spend time with my kids. But the reality was that I would have to learn to live with it. Their mother and I were to have shared custody and that meant that I would only see them 50% of the time. I didn't want our family to be torn apart. I had forgiven her affairs and addictions to drugs and alcohol, but she thought her life would be better on her own. We divorced, and I began the process of trying to learn how to be a single dad and provide my kids with as much of a normal life as possible. I count myself to be very fortunate to have had the assistance of Dana and Don at Mediation and Family counseling. While the divorce has been final for a while, I use them as a resource for issues dealing with my children and their mother. Unfortunately, her substance abuse problems have not gotten better, and she continues to try to poison the relationship between my me and my children. Don and Dana's experiences in dealing with all types of family situations have given them the wisdom and background to help me with sound advice and practical methods to talk to my kids and avoid getting dragged down into the negative and vindictive world of my ex-wife. Not only would I recommend Dana and Don for anyone else needing mediation or counseling, I continue to use them to this day. They have been a lifeline for me when I thought that there was no hope. They know family law and work towards reducing conflict and alienation - especially when kids are involved. They have helped me make the best of a bad situation and helped me to understand the needs and feelings of my children and ex-wife. Their expert advice and experience, along with their practical methods for dealing with conflict, have given me and my kids a healthier and more stable life together. Andrew Winters

While meeting virtually was the safest option at the time, I did have some hesitation about its efficacy compared to in-person therapy.  Those concerns were alleviated in my first virtual appointment with Kelly, as she made me feel very comfortable. Over 2 years I found Kelly to be a great listener, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and intuitive. She asked great, thought-provoking questions and provided tools and practices for me to focus on between appointments. Having Kelly as a resource was like talking to a sympathetic, well-informed and non-judgmental friend who doesn't chime in with their own problems.  Scheduling & billing were all easy breezy. Kelly was in-network for my insurer and the copays were very fair. Kelly played a huge role in me being able to successfully navigate challenges presented by life & the pandemic, and I'm really grateful that I found her.
