They scheduled me a free consultation after work (which was awesome bc most of these types of places are closed by the time I get off) and Wendy was super sweet and able to answer all of my questions. She got me set up on a series of b12/ lipo shots which are supposed to help lose weight and have more energy. She also told me that since I'm blonde, the hair on my arms might be too light to treat with laser, but the darker hair on my underarms, legs, and bikini would work. I'm bummed about the arms, but I appreciate her honesty... I've had other places tell me they could treat blonde hair, but she explained why that isn't possible, and I'm glad I got a second opinion before dropping a ton of money. During the first appointment for my son's Accutane treatment, no one informed me that monthly follow-up appointments were required to continue receiving his prescription. Because of this lack of communication, there was a gap in his treatment the earliest appointment they could offer was more than a week out, and by that time he was on his last pill with no refills available. Once I finally managed to get him seen and get the prescription, I made sure to schedule the next appointment before leaving the office to avoid another gap. Unfortunately, strike two came when they failed to approve his medication with the pharmacy. My son has now gone without his medication for over a week and a half. I have called repeatedly, but the issue remains unresolved. This level of disorganization and lack of follow through is unacceptable in any medical practice, let alone one handling a controlled medication that requires strict compliance. The experience has felt more like dealing with a circus than a professional doctor's office
