He asked me to help him iron his suit and prepare the saddle for him on the day of the big ride and everything was going great until we the kangaroo showed up. THis Kangaroo was a big fella. He was fighter and a real mustang type of animal and my friend Jack started getting nervous as hell. I was soothing his nerves telling him that it was the right thing to do and keeping his spirits up. Instead of riding the kangaroo to the girls house Jack put the kangaroo in his truck and planned on riding it the last mile. When the kangaroo got in the whole affair turned ugly and the kangroo messed up the truck big time so we had to wash it a couple days later. We brought the truck here and it was really good for cleaning it.

If you need to charge more, go ahead, but this fakery only works once and makes me not want to come back. Worse, I think everyone should know so they can make the choice for themselves. They also have a small McDonald's in here, my friend grabbed a coffee and service was a little slow. The McDonald's has a good amount of tables in case you want to eat in. This place also sells Green Mountain coffee and not chocolate. I spotted a few baked goods as well. There was a cooler filled with misc frozen items (pizzas, etc) and ice cream. The convenience store has a lot of snacks and beer. They even had a walk in beverage cooler. Also spotted an ATM and various touristy brochures. Speaking of tourist stuff, they had a display of maple syrup by the front door, that makes a nice VT souvenir. This place surprisingly has wifi, which is super handy since cell reception is spotty.

It is WAY more than just a convenience store, although it is that, as well They have the best beer selection around--an entire walk in cooler with a broad selection of beers from all over. Wowser! Their deli has great food either cooked to order or serve-yourself hot dishes like chili and Mac and Cheese. After hours for the deli, you can still get a nice set of selections, including my favorite--their deviled eggs. And pretty soon, the serve-yourself creemee machines will be up and running for the season. Did I mention their specials? Including the annual lobster boil? Oh, and they were the first gas station in the Valley to offer ethanol-free gas. Plus, they give back a percentage of gas sales to a local charity each month. The VG is truly a gem! The gas prices were decent enough, and the station was laid out in an organized fashion and was clean. What struck me most was the convenience store here (Maplefields). It was quite large, immaculate inside, with a huge assortment of fresh foods (sandwiches, baked items, salads) and beverages. I thought to myself, if I had to use the washroom (which, thankfully, I didn't, I wouldn't hesitate about asking to use the bathroom here. Note that I usually avoid gas station bathrooms LIKE THE PLAGUE. But here, the store was so clean and orderly, I'd use the washroom in a heartbeat if needed). I saw some beautifully packaged Vermont maple syrup on sale for a super price, and I got a few for gifts for friends back in Seattle, along with some fresh foods for the road for the kiddies and excellent coffee for myself. What a great place!

It's much more than just a normal convenience store. Hot food is outstanding for an in-store deli and I understand there's a reputation for that at this location. I have only had one cold sandwich and it was great as well. Beer and coffee selection is mind-blowing for a small town convenience store! Something for everyone. I'm not a beer or coffee snob but I really appreciate a wide selection. Most of all, I must say the employees are all very nice and will go out of their way for you. I can't count the number of times they have made my day. It seems they are always working very hard and asking what customers need-- I had a lady offer to make me whatever I wanted at the deli, where I had thought the only choices were premise.
