The selection is pretty good for a convenience store, the bathrooms are unisex, single-stall, and clean (my wife says "best bathrooms I've ever seen in a place") and the guy working the counter was completely polite to me, a trans lesbian. Normally, if a place is just OK (has what you want, polite staff) I'd give it three stars, but with the single-stall, clean bathrooms I call this place a solid 4!

Unfortunately, that changed quickly when I saw an employee loading the tomatoes and lettuce into the aluminum serving tins with her bare hands, directly scooping from a larger plastic storage bin. No gloves, no utensils. Just bare hands fully in the food. That's unsanitary and violates Vermont health code (§3-301.11), which prohibits bare-hand contact with ready-to-eat food. We left immediately without ordering. Completely unacceptable and disappointing.

The fries were well seasoned, and the sandwich was nothing close to dry. I feel the portions were bigger than most others which was also very enjoyable. They used real meat as well; this really surprised me since most gas stations use frozen processed meats. All employees were very friendly even though the store was very busy. There are a variety of options for both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The prices were extremely fair; I definitely will be coming back here!
