It was a Saturday around 1:30 so even though it's a sports bar and grill it wasn't really crowded yet. We walked in and a gentleman at the end of the bar I'm guessing a manager maybe said we could sit anywhere. The waitress was pleasant, and the service was pretty quick. I ordered a burger that was half hamburger and half sausage so it had to be cooked through which may be why it took a little longer than I thought I could have but we didn't really wait any excessive amount of time to get our food. Her Philly cheesesteak was incredible. She also pretty much devoured the sweet potato fries. We also ordered a couple dozen wings which these days almost takes a bank loan as I'm an old guy and I can remember back when I used to go out after college, finding 25 cent wings was easy. Nowadays $1 wings is a bargain. So anyway the food was really good, service was outstanding and the place was clean. Given the bathrooms looked pretty nice, well at least the men's room did ... I didn't think taking a peek the other way would have been very welcome. So yeah I would definitely recommend this place. I did notice some other people left some rather negative reviews, and maybe we just showed up on the right day or something but for us anyway it was a pleasant experience.

Restaurant was out of regular wings. It's a race weekend, so I get that it was probably busier than normal especially with takeout, but it's not like there isn't always a busy weekend about now (that's been scheduled for a year) and can be planned for. Food was fine, had to ask for my celery and carrots a second time. Bartender was not very present and the bar remained un-bussed the entire time I was there. Just zero pride in the product or job at hand, and honestly made me question the kitchen situation too. There were two men playing pool and a couple of people sitting at the bar, and everyone seemed surprised to see us walk through the door. Our server was friendly and told us to sit anywhere. When I asked why it was so quiet, she explained it was the slow season. We looked over the menus and tried ordering chips and guacamole--only to learn they were out of guacamole. Next, we tried mozzarella sticks--also unavailable. As we looked for a third option, my son asked if their chicken wings used a dry rub. The server said she'd check with the cook... and went over to ask one of the guys playing pool. She returned to tell us he was not only the cook but also "a very good pool player." We then noticed no one in the restaurant had food in front of them, the air had a dingy smell, and the whole atmosphere felt off. At that point, we decided not to stay. Back in the car, I checked Yelp again and realized most of the glowing reviews were from five years ago. This might have been a great spot in the past, but based on our experience, it seems it's no longer the vibrant local hangout it once was. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

You order and pay, they hand you a buzzer. When the buzzer goes off you go to the kitchen window to pick up your food. The bar has just about everything you could ask for, including local wines and brews. I just went with a soft drink, my only complaint was they served Pepsi products which I am not particularly fond of, but at least they had Dew. You have to find your own table indoor and outdoor seating. But getting back to the food. Simply put, some of the best sausage and ribs I've ever had. The brisket was very tasty, but a bit more fatty than I'd like to see. Also, I did not see burnt ends on the menu, which is it my go to. The place is clean and the staff are quick to clean tables as soon as customers leave. Overall a very good experience with high quality food. Prices are reasonable to other BBQ places in the area. I definitely plan to go back next time in the area!
