Within 2 hours on a Sunday I heard back from Dixon's to schedule a service call for Monday morning, I heard from him again first thing in the morning to go over the details and got scheduled for 9am Monday morning. Then at 9:30 I got the first call from the other company, sorry to slow. Dixon's prompt response was not only comforting since I had no hot water, but showed great service from the get-go. Mike arrived with help and within 30minutes had my hot water heater running. He explained each step of the way what he was doing to the pump and why it happened. Fantastic service. Very friendly and professional. I highly recommend his service, another company may be slightly cheaper for labor costs but you won't get better service. Lastly he e-mailed a digital invoice! - GO GREEN!

It has become infuriating to constantly run out of hot water on a seemingly perfectly working boiler/hot water heater. Now, our heat broke so I decided to find another plumber or HVAC company. Mike was referred to me with raving reviews. When contacted, he dropped what he was doing and came here the next morning. Not only did he fix ALL the problems with our heat and hot water heater, he even showed me how to remove the glass on our fireplace and clean it. He is extremely knowledgeable and showed me how to do all the troubleshooting myself next time. I highly recommend him!!!

It was a problem for the others to do any custom work in a reasonable amount of time and at a fair price. We needed extended height and wanted a steel door and vinyl window. This was no problem at Shed Happens. We also needed it delivered within a short period of time. Our shed was delivered 8 days after ordering it. It's perfect! We did pay an additional fee to have it rush ordered, but it was so worth it. The quality of the construction is excellent and dealing with everyone from ordering with Alana to the delivery today with Bob was perfect. Their service was professional and amiable and the shed construction exceeded our expectations.

Work completed July 8, 2025, by this company to install a 6x10 concrete walkway extension at my…read morehouse in South Portland. Photos dated August 14, 2025, show the result. Significant defects, including orange discoloration, remain despite repeated attempts at resolution. The contractor repeatedly claimed the discoloration would "fade" with time, but instead the problem has only worsened, leaving the walkway visibly stained. I documented this with dated photos and raised it directly with the owner, but rather than resolving the multiple issues, the owner responded to my concerns with emails such as: - "You are an hard person to satisfy and it making me regretting ever meeting you." - "What is wrong with you? ... You do not dictate my schedule." - "You want to create an issue only to satisfy yourself." - "I can't believe I ran into someone similar to each other in the same month." - And, unrelated to the job: "Are you single?" I raised workmanship issues, and the response was hostility and inappropriate personal comments. This reinforces my overall experience: poor workmanship, unresolved defects, and unprofessional behavior. Further documentation is available if needed. I have requested a refund so I can hire another contractor to correct the issues, and this review will be updated as warranted or based on the outcome.
