I got my equipment waxed and it was done in less than an hour and the food blew away everything I've ever had at any American Resort. (Californian here ) No 5 Star American Ski resort lodge food has ever been this good!!! They should be taking culinary notes. I hope to come back to this resort every year.

But there's not natural beauty to draw people into the area, aside from the river. The food is a bit pricey, 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 2 and 3) for about $30. We're talking club sandwich, burger and some hot dogs and milk. There are a lot more activities, like golf, kayak, horseback, etc. My sister lives in that area, only reason I would go back.

A few steps below is the dock for lounging and swimming, plus a double kayak for your use. Everything about our stay was exceptional. I highly recommend this stunning place with the most charming hosts. How often can you say that you've stayed at the home of a great Canadian landscape artist? I guarantee you'll go home with your very own Gordon Harrison painting too - who can resist!
