Our waiter one of the siblings of the family working there was great at answering questions and helping us understand the menu which was fairly large. The items were ala crate. We had the tavern sPecial antipasto (2 plus pizza crust bread) for the seven of us and it was just the right amount. The house labeled red wine was fantastic (we left with 4 extra bottles to enjoy on the rest of our vacation.) We all thoroughly enjoyed our selections and share amongst our table. They included gnocchi, pizza, brachiosaurus, spinach, chicory, eggplant balls. They were all 'fantastico'. The eggplant balls were the favorite (probably because we are all from the Southern USA where everything is fired!). If I had one critique it might be that the creme brûlée was not very smooth/creamy but still delicious. Overall we highly recommend La Taverna Del Bracho right down to the security provided in the parking lot(which looked secure anyway). The pricing was very fair. Without the wine the price was about $15euro/person. We will definitely return!

We found the fish fresh and tasty, well prepared, if not outstanding. The wait staff was pleasant and typically ironically rough (as everywhere in Rome) and this is meant in a good way. We will come back to this quiet area for more.

Dark wooden tables and chairs fill the dining room. Service was very good. Our Secondi (main course) was a Porterhouse Steak of Danish beef for four of us. While tasty, it was over cooked and grainy. The Antipasti and Primi were the highlights of this meal. Don't get me wrong. The meal was fine, but neither great nor extraordinary. Maybe I was expecting better based on the great Italian steak and chop houses in the United States.
