I enjoy skiing Les Gets very much. You can avoid all the hoopla of skiing Chamonix (but one should…read moredo that once in life if possible!). There are many terrain options and you can connect to other mountains/resorts in the valley area. Good for families, too. LG proximity to Geneva makes it a no-brainer: it's a 85 minute car drive from downtown Geneva. Not sure there is a bus, but check the website. Prices are low and there are specials offered. We typically hit the ski shop Perriers Ski Pro Shop for our ski rentals.
