Amazing for its Indian snack food and chai, hit or miss for actual entrees, but an overall winner due to its convenience inside the best Indian grocery store! Attached to the Cool Springs Indian grocery store India Bazaar, Chai Samosa offers a really wide menu ranging from Indian brunch items (dosa, vada, idli, sambar), traditional Indian entrees (butter chicken and the like), Indian thali's (entree option where you get many small curries and items), Indo/Chinese items (like haaaka noodles), Indian snack food (pakoras and samosas galore), and a wide range of desserts. I have tried most of the categories on their menu (except dessert) and my consistent favorites here are the mostly fried snack items: spinach and onion pakora, corn samosa, pav bhaji, even mirchi pakoda when I'm in the mood for something very spicy. All are some of the best of their kind in the area. My dad really loves their brunch items (particularly the idli sambar) because it's a very reasonable price point, but personally don't think their execution is really on par with what I expect of a perfect, undeniably soft, steamed idli. We have gotten entrees once or twice but again, nothing really to write home about here. They have some good specials on entrees later in the evening, but I wouldn't go out of my way for these entrees compared to other restaurants in the area. That said, they absolutely win on convenience. I come to this grocery store at least twice a month to get vegetables, Indian items, and fresh chapati and having a great eatery attached to grab a bite and an excellent (highly caffeinated) chai after a morning grocery shopping is always a win in my book! Really pleased overall with this addition to the Cool Springs Indian food scene!

We were immediately impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and decided to enjoy the beautiful outdoor seating on a perfect evening. The patio was comfortable, relaxing, and added such a lovely touch to our meal. The highlight was undoubtedly their wonderful buffet. It was fresh, flavorful, and had an incredible variety of authentic Indian dishes that satisfied every craving. What really made the experience special was watching the guy at the grill making fresh crepes (dosas) right in front of us--hot, crispy, and perfectly prepared. It added such a fun, interactive element to the buffet and made everything taste even better knowing it was made to order. The service was attentive and friendly, the flavors were bold and delicious, and the overall value for such a high-quality spread was outstanding. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Namaste delivers an exceptional experience.

Full disclosure I didn't eat here bc I read this first!…read morehttps://williamsonsource.com/franklin-restaurant-receives-failing-health-inspection-score/ Cafe India at 101 International Drive received a failing score of 63 points during a health inspection on August 7, 2025. The restaurant has struggled with food safety compliance for five years and now faces potential permit revocation. View Report Here! Critical Temperature Violations Lead to Food Embargo Inspectors embargoed over 70 pounds of food due to unsafe temperatures. The Person in Charge admitted that food found at dangerous temperatures in the walk-in cooler had been left on prep tables overnight before refrigeration. Embargoed items included 36 pounds of raw chicken, 25 pounds of cooked chicken, 20 pounds of cooked goat, 10 pounds of rice, and hard-boiled eggs--all stored at 49-52 degrees instead of the required 41°F or below. Repeat Violations Threaten Closure This marks the second repeat violation for critical infractions. Despite being classified as a "risk 3" facility and receiving fact sheets and risk control plans for five years, inspectors noted "there is no change in the food handling practices." The inspector emphasized, "Food can not be left out on the tables overnight to cool. This is a major health issue, and this practice must cease immediately." Additional Violations Found Inspectors documented 17 total violations, including cross-contamination risks (raw chicken stored above pork, employees handling raw chicken then cutting onions), sanitation problems (onions stored on floors in mop water, extremely dirty equipment with old food debris), and procedural violations (no employee illness policy, reusing single-use containers). What This Means A score of 63 falls well below Tennessee's passing threshold. Given the five-year pattern of violations, the restaurant faces potential permit revocation. The Tennessee Department of Health will provide another Risk Control Plan, but significant improvements must be demonstrated quickly.

We have lived in the Williamson county area for several years now. We have been severely disappointed by the lack of authentic Indian food in this area. We've had to drive to Nashville to find anything that we liked. We were sitting at home one day scrolling through Yelp when we saw this restaurant and decided to take our kids here and try it. What was unbelievable was that everything we tried at this restaurant was great. The veg hot and sour soup was delicious. Our kids devoured it. The Indo Chinese Hakka noodles were made mild so our kids could eat it and it was delicious for us as well. The dahi poori was flavorful and fresh. The dhosa came out nice and crispy, and the sambhar and coconut chutney were very authentic. To top it all off, the naan was hot and fresh, and our paneer tikka masala and baigan Bertha were just the perfect amount of spice and flavor. You could taste that the eggplants were freshly roasted and cooked. My husband said that it reminded him of his grandmother's version, and that is no small compliment. I wish that I had taken a picture, but we demolished everything so you would've just seen empty plates. If you're looking for good Indian food in the Williamson county area, this is the place to go!

Golden Pizza and Indian Cuisine brilliantly merges two beloved cuisines--authentic Indian flavors with creative pizza twists. It's the perfect place whether you're craving traditional Indian fare or something a little more adventurous. We started with the samosas, and they were spot-on--crispy, flavorful, and filled with perfectly spiced potatoes and peas. They really hit the spot as a starter. For the main event, we went for the fusion side and ordered the **Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza**. Wow--what an outstanding combination! The naan-like crust held up beautifully to the rich, creamy tikka masala sauce, tender chunks of chicken, and just the right amount of spice balanced with cheese and fresh toppings. It was genuinely delicious. The flavors worked incredibly well together without feeling forced. If you're not in the mood for fusion, they also offer all the classic Indian options like butter chicken, biryani, curries, and naan breads that looked equally tempting. This place is definitely worth the stop! Whether you're a local or just passing through Brentwood, Golden Pizza and Indian Cuisine delivers a memorable meal with great service in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend trying the fusion pizzas--you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.
