Chahals is located at the bottom of the bank road which leads towards Guidepost. It is just beyond the mini roundabout. There is a residential road infront of the shop where you can park but most visitors park on the main road outside of the shop and walk over the grassy verge.
The shop is open almost all of the time and is the first place I think of when I desperately need something out of hours. The staff are brilliant at working hard and keeping the store up and running and they are a credit to shopping services in the town.
The shop has a glass fronted window which is often quite crowded and stock-heavy. They have neat and inviting displays often showing the prices of goods or advertising any special offers.
The store sells all sorts of products from your typical newsagents goods: newspapers and magazines, sweets, drinks, crisps etc to fresh fruit and vegetables, tinned goods, cosmetic products and women's products as well as alcohol and cigarettes. Basically, if there is anything you can't find at the local supermarket try here and there is a strong possibility they'll have it!
A brilliant, convenient store whose staff are also very personable and kind. read more
