There is even a story about royalty getting cheese from this company!!! The shop is small and smells strongly but the cheese is fantastic. Local varieties such as Northumberland Cheese and Cheviot Cheese available as well as the standard cheese like Chedder etc. They also sell products like Chain Bridge Honey Farm Honey, cakes and biscuits, jam and spreads, many organic or specialist products. Definately a place to go if you are visiting the area.

There's usually a lovely smell of baking bread throughout the day and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The self-service machines are a source of stress for me, they never seem to work properly but there's always a member of staf nearby to help!
