We had booked dinner around the corner and decided to grab a seat to get out of the rain and ordered two small beers (would normally cost around 1.50 euro in neighboring centro bars). Firstly, the glasses were dirty and the lager was flat, so we didn't even finish and secondly, we were charged 10 euros!!... so over 3 times the price of far better bars in the area. No receipt was provided, so I suspect they just make up the prices as they go along. Its a complete rip off.......PLEASE AVOID!

They make great drinks and it is a fun and lively atmosphere. I went twice just so that I could have a easy relaxing experience, not speaking Spanish well in my case. But they also do solid pours of whatever alcohol you order, with a smile. Loved it. If you want something authentic Spanish though this isn't for you.

There were two older gents having pints of Guinness on the patio when we came in, but the bar was entirely empty. We had a nice chat with the sweet and friendly Venezuelan bartender. Asked him how the season was going, he said "nonexistent." It's totally dead in the winter in Torremolinos, the beach party town. We didn't have any food that even, just two pints, one Guinness, one Stella Artois. Menu looked to be standard pub grub (toasties, burgers, chips - meaning fries - with things on them, etc.), note the chef is English, but the owner is Irish, and those two terms are not interchangeable, so we were told. There's a snooker table in the back, have always wanted to learn how to play, one of these days maybe. Apparently, there's a rather sizable expat community here in southern Spain, something about the perfect weather. We felt welcome and comfortable, def you should pop in for a pint.

They call it "thetah thetah poob", LOL), this venue specializes in mostly old school rock. The name says it all! The band that played that night played the cover songs of the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Joan Jett, etc. Personally I'm not into this type of music but I must say that the drummer was amazing, he was the most entertaining part of the show!
