My father and I were moving from Arizona to Pennsylvania. We had wanted to hire Global Vanlines for our move but we inadvertently hired these crooks. My dad spoke to a John Harris who lied to my dad and told us they were a moving company and that they were the real global Vanlines. They are a moving broker not a moving company. When the mover got to our house the leader a Israeli named Leo, was very polite and professional. They actually did a good job labeling and wrapping our stuff. We were told it would arrive in a week. Our contract with them stated they had 21 business days after pickup to deliver our items. It took 6 weeks. We got on a plane and went to Pennsylvania and then we realized our mistake. We had a smaller load then normal as most of the items we took with us were our irreplaceable keepsakes and our clothes and not a lot of furniture. My dad tried to contact this Israeli moving company and another Israeli named David who answered the phones and dealt with us was a monster. He screamed in my dad's face, insulted us, and threatened us when we asked for our stuff back. It took the combined efforts of the police, Washington DC, the federal department of transportation, and lawyers to get us our stuff back. When we did receive it everything was there, but almost all the boxes were flattened and the furniture we did take with us was badly damaged. Also the federal department of transportation told us there is a entire Israeli scam moving racket. Never trust Israelis when moving ever! Also we turned our voicemails and recordings of CH Global calling themselves Global Vanlines over to the real Global Vanlines and the police. read more

Came sooooo close to getting scammed by them, so I'm here to warn others. Called for a quote, great price, sounded too good to be true. It is. I just happened to look them up on yelp and on BBB. First thing they do is give you a bunch of discounts over the phone and say that if you hang up, that quote won't be valid and you have to start over. That set off a red flag. They keep you on the phone until you agree to sign on the dotted line. So I yelped them and saw two different yelp pages of one star reviews. I told the gal on the phone this and she said, "No, that's not us. That's a different company. Here, let me send you a link to our BBB reviews." So she sends a link. Suddenly it's an A+ rating. THEY SEND YOU A LINK TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY WITH THE SAME NAME. Look at the addresses. This scam company is in Fort Pierce, FL. The link she sent me was a company named Global Van Lines with an address in Fort Wayne, IN. This company has 19 BBB complaints against them. When I start to bail on the deal, suddenly I'm put on the phone with a very convincing supervisor who continues to heap on the lies. Don't fall for it. Pay attention to these warnings here and on BBB. Here's the REAL link to their BBB page. https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/fort-pierce/profile/moving-brokers/ch-global-vanlines-0633-90540173 And here's the link they'll send you on the phone. https://www.bbb.org/us/in/fort-wayne/profile/moving-companies/global-van-lines-llc-0352-10021042 Not sure how they get away with such a blatant scam, but they do. read more

Woooowwww. I wish I had read the reviews. Still attempting to retrieve our belongings. It is held from us with no justified reason. Will be taking legal action!! read more

Please find another company. They subcontracted to United Relocation of St. Louis and my furniture was destroyed. Over 20 items of wood was scarred, TV smashed, ceramic pieces all destroyed. Quote started at $6,000. then 2 days before pickup they re-estimated for another $4,000. Next the subcontractor charged an extra $4,000 while threatening to keep my furniture. They demand upfront payment in postal money orders because they know after all the damage, they would not collect a dime. Litigation will follow. read more

DO NOT USE THEM!!! I really wished there was negative stars that could be given they need a negative 10. I really wish I read their reviewers prior to booking them. This company and their employees are a load of bullshit and lies as well as theives. I was able to speak to anyone or get a call back right away prior to my deposit. For starters on pick up day they sent another company Mosley Vanlines Nationwide Movers DOT#2551727 which was so horrible. Their workers smelled like weed, then the supposedly owner Terry was in the phone was given a new quote $950 more and if I decline them he told me that I will lose my deposit because they were already at my location even thou nothing was done yet. Took over a month to get my things to my new location, Terry wasn't answering his cell phone and it was the rep at Global that got in contact with another gentelman . on delivery day it was another company that showed up. He told me Terry ask him to do a favor and drop my stuff off. The man when I ask told me that he didn't use the amount of space that Terry charged me ($950 on top of the estimate) on top of that my boxes, bins, lamps were damage. Things was missing in the bins, have missing plaque/painting and garbage that never made it. On top of that my Sony Bravia television when plug in was all cracked. That took the cake. Sent the delivery company a picture and he told me to put in a claim and assured me heroin to call Terry and gave him contact me. They never happened, tried to get copy of my contract from global and still can't get that either. This is a nightmare that can't shake, worse thing is these people change their names get a new DOT# and keep steak from people. There was a rebate i was told I get it I paid check or cash and still can't get that. I would recommend anyone to use this company to move across the street. A fucking mess. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! read more

They are terriable...this is my 4th long distance move and the worst. Did not show up on time and was 2 days late to my new job. Damage furniture and boxes crushed. Was promised $200.00 refund for my inconvenience and have not seen it. Have called over 12 times and promised a return phone call and have not recieved one back. Next time will use 2 Men and a Truck read more

Try putting in a claim it's a California number, 3 months I am waiting. Numerous phone calls and emails no one knows anything. They SUCK read more

I would give 0 starts if I could. They are a third-party contractor, they hire other companies for moves. My stuff was weeks late, out of 30 boxes, only 10 were not completely destroyed in the move. Communication is terrible. Service is deplorable. DO NOT USE. I really don't recommend any company---pack it yourself and use a Pod. Do not put anything in their hands ever. read more

Fraud! Scam! Be aware! They were supposed to pick up at 9 am on Saturday. I got a call at 2ish. He said he'd be there by 630. I called at 730. He said he'd there by 930. I called at 1030. He said he'd call when he was close. If I was sleeping, he'd get a hotel and pick me up at 7 am. He called at 1 am. I was obviously sleeping. I called at 1930 am. He said he'd pick me up at 415. I called at 415. He said he'd get there when he got there. Rude, excuse after excuse, giving me the run around each time. I called the office and received no response. I called each number and emailed everyone I could. No response. I finally got a response and it's giving me the run around, excuses and not solving any of my problems with this experience. He gets there at 8 ish pm and the office told me I would lose my deposit if I did not let them finish the job. He talks a good game and I let him pick up my stuff. They damaged the walls, damaged the floors, called me a hoe, was interested in smoking weed, got in a fist fight on my porch at 1am and fought multiple times with the crew. The office won't talk to me about a fair price after that treatment. I was supposed to get my things in 1 to 2 days. Then it turned into 5 to 7 days. Now it's up to 21 days. I have to hire an attorney to deal with this! i just can't mentally keep going! read more

This is moving broker scam company. They fraud up the estimates give you discount and collect money from you. I am having a bad experience with them. My stuff was collected by a carrier and they collected 80% of charges and it's been almost 3 months, still my stuff is not delivered. I kept on calling them and the driver with no proper response. Please do not go with them and become a victim to lose your stuff!!!! read more

Worst company ever. I have picture after picture of damage. Scratched washer, dented dryer. Tore one couch. Scratched bedroom suite. I have one oak bdrm set and when I got it one of the slats (with screw in it was imbedded in a solid oak side rail. Rates started great, they even did a FaceTime with me on my house to get it right. Short truck came and it took a second truck because I had so much. More cubic ft than anticipated and the price went up. They said to buy a house where a long semi trailer could get in. I call bull because they got it all in just one of the shorter trucks then unloaded with no lift. They spread out to load and measure, so you have to pay more. They don't take care of your furniture and you'll risk damage on almost all of your furniture if you use them. read more

This is a terrible company and do NOT do business with them under any form. They will change their name after ruining this one. It is one big conglomerate, contract moving company. They will farm out the move. I won't go into as much detail as others, but I identify with complaints. Estimate is way low, hold you hostage to move your stuff, lose and break furniture and you are left with no way to get reimbursed for theft and damages. They stop answer calls and responding to texts or emails. They tell you to use movingclaims.com to get reimbursed and after everything is completed, no one pays and they no longer respond. Do not use or talk to them...especially Stanley Rosen, who was the salesman, and Pioneer Moving and Storage who did the actual moving. They lost (stole) a overstuffed chair, shattered dining room table glass, that they, themselves, had packed, as well as many, many other damages. He stopped taking calls and texts after delivery was done, by a different delivery company. Do not use this company under any name, they all work under that same system and the phone is answered with some generic long distance carrier term and not CH Global Van Lines. read more

Scam artist. Nothing but lies. Charged 700.00 thru my account twice for the deposit. Luckily my bank caught it. They don't have trucks. They contract with independent drivers. The driver was scheduled to come, two days later still no truck. Millions of phone calls. Hours on hold. If you call and press 1 for sales you get Tammy, 2 for customer service, Tammy, 3 for accounting, Tammy again. They don't have anyone in any departments. They just exhaust you with lies and bullshit. They are never going to refund my deposit. I paid for a service that was never delivered. They owe me a refund. I am done with the lies and run around. Hired an attorney. Also, contacted the NBC investigative reporters. They are extremely interested in investigating this after I told them my story and pointed them to the reviews people have written. Stay away from this company. Not to be confused with Global Vanlines. That was my mistake read more
