I've been shopping here for several years and just recently they've decided to charge a fee for…read morecredit card purchases. They assume you'll be paying with a card and automatically charge the increase which is charged per item. This is the most nickel and diming business strategy. Card payments are the norm for most consumers. Trying to persuade customers to pay in cash by penalizing them just seems sketchy. It's a convenient location for me but I'll be taking my business elsewhere on principle. I was also overcharged for an item and when I pointed it out, the cashier just said "no" and I had to ask her to go look at the label. Their prices are not especially competitive so I'm not sure where the attitude comes from.

Everything went really really well. Well they had all the products I was looking for that night on…read morethe grocery list they had gone up for a specialist. They had eggs were $.99 a dozen and they had more than enough enough to service their customers. We picked up a few other things that I had wanted that were on sale. The only thing that went wrong was I didn't guys get home that the young fellow had taken and not only charged me for one of the items twice twice, but he also charged me too much money for another item. So I immediately called back to the store cause I was 30 minutes from the store. I called back to the store and talk to the customer service lady. She looked it up. She ended up working it out with me on the phone where she's going to take and leave me the money on the counter. I can come by and pick it up anytime. So basically it was a very good experience. It was a 90 out of 100.

Stopped in to grab some ground pork from the butcher and was very disappointed by the customer…read moreservice and absolutely disgusted by the cleanliness of the meat department. I approached the counter to ask where to find the pork, stood there for several minutes while the butcher mopped and ignored me, despite looking up. Finally went to check the cooler and found an in-store shopper to ask, she brought me to where it should be but there was none, I followed her back to the counter where the butcher was quick to come to her service, and she placed an order with him rather than trying to continue to help me. The butcher went from mopping to grabbing fresh ground beef out of the case with the same gloves he was mopping, and packing it up. In the process of weighing the meet he was also flinging into the floor of the shoppers side of the butcher counter. not impressed, and definitely would not buy fresh packed meats from this store.

It is small, so small that in order to change one's mind, a customer has to go outside. When I say it's a small place, however, I mean, it's small. I was in there with one other person who resembled a midget, and it felt cramped! Nevertheless, if I lived around here and needed a snack or a drink in a hurry I'd stop in. The place is new with a nice layout, but the kid at the counter was about as unhelpful as you could get. That's a first for me in other other places like this. Usually they go out of their way to assist you. I was surprised here, he acted inconvenienced by the simplest question, started with a blank stare, finished with 'I don't know'. I guess that's the level of service now. Finally, I had to request the receipt after cashing out. I'm surprised I wasn't expected to ring up the sale myself too! It was odd. I'll drive a little further down the road to avoid that again.

In my opinion this is very poor customer service at Natick Roche Brothers. I will never set my foot again in that store.
