The corner of Railroad Ave and Washington St is crazy - 3 (yes, 3) convenience stores, and the only reason why there aren't 4 is because there is a parking lot on the other corner. If those stores didn't need the parking, there would probably be a store there. But Quick Stop would still be the best... nice man and woman seem to own and/or run it (husband and wife, perhaps?), they always seem to be open, and they are incredibly friendly. And unlike the shady convenience store diagonally across the street, when you walk in, you don't have to walk through 5 townies outside who are smoking before they go inside to wait for the next Keno game. Lottery players are a big customer base here, I suppose, but all your basics are here too, as are the best prices on Diet Coke (my personal vice). Go on in and you won't regret it!

With that said, if I need something quickly and out of the blue, I don't mind actually buying it. Anyway, between all the drugstore chains in the area (Rite Aid, CVS, and Walgreens), Walgreens never has the best deals. They do have the lowest regular prices, but when it comes to sales every week, CVS outnumbers them every week. I also don't like that every time I seem to use coupons here, they enjoy giving me a problem with the coupons. With that said, they weren't being very friendly about it here at the start, and now they are getting much better. While I still prefer how other stores give me even less of a hassle (in Needham, management doesn't even need to come over to manually enter a coupon), the management team here is friendly and extremely helpful for whatever I need (and it doesn't seem to be only me...). While not my favorite location of Walgreens, in general, people are friendly, they generally have the items I'm looking for, and you can guarantee they will have a ton of cool, awesome stuff for cheap (sometimes up to 90% off!) right after any holiday, which is something that doesn't happen as often at CVS or Rite Aid. This specific store is also generally well stocked, organized and clean as well. 4 stars overall. Could be better, but since it's close it works for me.

I just cannot stand a dirty car whatsoever, so I regularly stop here (if I cannot make it to the place with the free vacuums in Canton). Gas prices aren't always the lowest, and they cannot decide who they are! It was Citgo, but then all of the signs for that were removed and new ones weren't ever added. What company is even running this station anymore! The mart inside is alright, but since they close so early on Sundays (like 5pm), and regularly close at 9pm (I believe...), it's not all that convenient. Has the basics and doesn't have the worst prices, so I probably shouldn't be complaining. There is a Dunkin' inside the station, that could be useful, but the service is so terrible there that in fact, that too is nothing useful. The guy or lady (it's always the same two people) who work here are friendly and do a good job with the auto repair portion of the store. Hopefully they will update the rest of the lot soon since it looks sort of sketchy. It is the only station within a mile or two radius, so it will stay afloat and could be great. The things in the store have not changed much at all. Its a great neighborhood store that you can pick up incidentals and grab a beer or bottle of wine for a good price. That being said, he may not be the same with other customers. This store is located in very residential area at the intersection of Fulton Street and Nahatan Street in Norwood. It's has the basics, candy, snacks, frozen goods, and tons of ice cream at the front. The best thing sold here though is milk. Garelick farms is only $2.79! That is unheard of elsewhere! I make the stop to get the Globe on Sundays sometimes, as it is a very convenient stop near my house, especially when Shurfine is closed. There normally isn't too many people inside, and again, the guy working always has seemed friendly and helpful. Perfect, small parking lot right outside, that is never busy either. It's been here for SO many years and has always had anything you'd need in a quick hurry. I visited last week and they had everything I was looking for and the Boston Globe, which I was hoping to find. The man at the register was kind as well (unlike what these other reviews say). Convenient and has great selection of everything you'd need on any day (including greeting cards!). 5 stars.
