I'm in love with all my baby shower photos chuck did. He did such an amazing job. Being pregnant and not feeling like yourself or feeling beautiful in your own body. Going through changes. All the weight gain and what not but chuck definitely out did it and made me feel amazing and few beautiful again. He captured every moment and it's priceless. Chuck is one of the most hardworking, gifted and amazingly kindhearted people I know- and I'm proud to say he's my GO TO family photographer. We met when he was an avid Yelper (and covered the various Elite events), and on short notice I hired him to be the photographer for my sister's wedding as well as our recent family photos. So let me start off with the photographer himself: Chuck is a really nice guy. You want a photographer that's easy to talk to, and that's exactly what he is. Our church had some restrictions regarding the photographer, like he wasn't allowed to go into the isle, etc. and Chuck was great about it and still took awesome pictures even though he was so limited. My wedding was extremely last minute (like, 3 weeks) and I was on a budget. Chuck was willing to be there even though it was such short notice and he only charged us $200! And the quality was just as good as someone who would have charged us 6x of that. You won't regret hiring him! read more

Chuck is awesome! Not only is he a blast to be around, but his photos are amazing! I've had the pleasure of working side-by-side with him and I'm envious of his uncanny ability to break the ice and get people out of their shell! Some photographers tend only to the technical elements of photography, but Chuck is a great example of why personality is MORE important than the equipment you're shooting with. Let's just face it: I am super camera shy. When it comes to taking candid shots or doing a quick smile, I'm your girl. But when it comes to modeling or forced poses, I'm scared and insecure, haha. Chuck totally loosened me up, just by being friendly, understanding, and super easy going. I did a portrait session at UCSD in various places around campus. There were plenty of people walking around, but Chuck was incredibly professional and kept me focused without sacrificing the fun of the situation. He was also very good with directing how I should pose (seriously, i'm an awkward poser, but he made it really easy) and picking great places to take pictures. I had several different outfits to change into, and he had a portable changing station that made it REALLY easy to do this without everyone watching me change :) He also brought along an ipod player so I could play whatever music I wanted. Post photo session, Chuck got back to me pretty quickly with all of my shots. They all looked GREAT. Seriously, I hate looking at pictures of myself, but I think Chuck made me look like a model :) It was also nice to have access to all of pictures online! Overall, Chuck is a GREAT photographer. I have worked with him before, and boy I must say this guy will make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Let me first say that this review may seem a bit biased since I've known Chuck for a very long time. I had some hesitancy since I rarely like to mix friendship with business. Chuck was one of our photographers providing in-kind services for a large community event. While there are many who can offer to take photos for free, it was great to have a professional with an unbiased eye. We gave him a list of particular shots which he covered. He met all of our expectations given that there were several hundred guests and many moments to be captured which is difficult for one person. Guests commented that he was personable, approachable, and easy to work with especially in gathering a crowd of 50+. More importantly, he was engaged with the event. Some photographers like to take control, be at a distance, or in front as part of the show. He offered a great balance - taking a step back, coming in for close-ups, and contributing to the event when needed. Overall, Chuck delivered more than what was required. A quick turnaround of the final product too. His overall rating on Yelp of being "as good as it gets" is reassurance that others feel the same way as I do about the quality of his work and as an individual. Although I've know about Yelp for years (my husband is an elite Yelper), I've never broken down and actually created an account to write a review for anything or anyone. But I had to change that for Chuck Fedalizo and CF Photography. My husband and I had been discussing having maternity photos taken. Although I knew I wanted to document my pregnancy, I'm a bit shy and was a bit weary. Not only am I at my biggest size ever, but there are also very few photos of myself that I like (they always come out weird) - but hey what the heck. My husband knew Chuck through Yelp and reached out to him to see if he was available to do the shoot for us. He was, sent us some samples of his work (point) and asked us to give him an idea of what kind of shots we'd like to include in our package (another point). We came up with some ideas and scheduled a date for the shoot. What I liked most was that although my husband know Chuck, he still insisted on a contract to stipulate terms of what was going to take place (extra points). I was a bit nervous as my experiences with photographers have been a bit hit or miss. So you can understand where I'm coming from, our engagement pictures were disappointing to say the least, and our wedding photographer disappeared with all our pictures. Well I'm glad to report that this time, I was happily surprised - the shoot was a complete hit!!! The thing that impressed me the most about working with Chuck was his ability to get us (or I should say me) to relax. With his casual style and the ease of working with him, he deftly brought our true personalities into the photos. The experience was fun because of the directions he provided and our photos are more than I could have hoped they would be. Not only do they show us at ease, but they were very artistic as he used the natural landscape of the location to add interest to the photos. Everyone who sees them, loves them. We've already framed our top choices and hung them in the nursery. It brings a smile to my face just looking at those photos. Chuck is professional and easy to work with. Chuckie Chuckie Chuckie!!! One of the most friendliest, awesome, most generous people I have ever met. I've known Chuck for about 6 years now. I first met this dude when he was shooting Climax events. He came out of nowhere and and took photos of me and my friends at the club. He was very friendly and each time we would see him at Climax events it was always great to see him. He has such an upbeat and positive attitude that you just love being around :) Anyways, when Chuck found out I was engaged he wanted to shoot capture the LOVE,with me and my fiance..hehhe He was prepared and his partner (Ray) was awesome and super helpful. Modeling for Chuck was such a great experience, he gives great direction, but also lets the individual control the shoot! Let me start by saying Chuck is extremely Professional, Creative, Timely and Nice! This May I hired Chuck for an outside shoot in Mission Beach. His scheduling and communications were extremely professional and quick. He arrived to our location early and already had the equipment setup and creative ideas for the exact angles and look I wanted. I was slightly nervous to shoot at the beach, considering it had been a while, but i was extremely comfortable, allowing me to just focus on looking good :) I loved the way he used natural lighting to create such wonderful angles. I had the chance to see Chuck in action this past weekend at the Miss Philippines California 2010 pageant. There was a pretty good number of other photographers there with top shelf equipment and assistants buzzing around the room. I was there to enjoy the event and seated halfway down the room I had a wide view of the stage and all that was happening around it. Listening to the people speaking and watching the action on stage, the random photographers popping up or wandering the room were a bit distracting, but Chuck was very discrete and low profile. When the event concluded, the winner announced and the madness of group candids was happening he appeared decisive and confident handling the groups, large and small. Soft spoken, but clear and direct to make the process very smooth and efficient. Though he left a light footprint at the event when I went to the online photo gallery... BOOM! The photos were vibrant and alive. Great expressions and action. Bright color and tight focus. Results without excessive fanfare. What more can you ask for? read more

Chuck is an amazing photographer and also a great mentor! I had the opportunity to assist him with one of the many weddings he gets to photograph and I was very pleased with his knowledge and the energy he has. Where to start? So I stupidly hired Chuck to shoot my wedding. I asked for video coverage...to my dismay i got coverage but only suitable for deaf & dumb person because it has no sound!! And futhermore the footage he stored it on was...dun dun dun compromised!! So I asked for at the very least a refund...his response i didnt list video in the contract. His camera-man was more than remorseful for the mistake made. He also explained that he wasnt comfortable shooting video but was ordered to by Chuck. His camera-man offered to refund his share...which was greatly appreciated & respectful. Chuck on the other hand. So how do you get back those moments? I cant throw another wedding...so forever i will have to live with the only footage to my wedding is me giving a drunken thank you speech. I cant relive my mother-son dance. My wife cant look back to see her & her dad dance. i wont be able to see the vows we took or the family members that showed up. read more
