One of the best deals in Vienna is their all-you-can-eat buffet which they serve until 16:00. It costs 6 Euro .... and you have Sri Lankan goodies from soup until desert. The main part of the buffet is excellent. Begin with basmati rice and add the various Hodi's from there. My three favorite are: Bittara Hodi (with egg) and Kukul Mas Hodi (chicken with coconut), and Parippu Hodi (red lentil and coconut). For desert (Nachspeise) the mango gelatin is the bomb. The owner Mohammed is super friendly and speaks many languages. He gave me a couple of the hottest green peppers I have ever eaten to take home with me. By the way there are also some Austrian dishes here like Schnitzel ... but seriously, everyone I know who goes to Claires, eats only Sri Lankan food. And if you're on a budget, remember that the lunch buffet served until four o'clock is probably the best deal in Vienna!
