I was in Dalyan for a yoga holiday where most of our meals were catered but we had 1 night out for dinner in town. This place was recommended by our host as it's a lovely place by the river and has a good variety. We had quite a large group of about 12 and they were very accommodating by moving around tables so we can all fit.
I shared the seafood meze to start and I suppose I didn't have much expectation but majority of it was sardines. I don't mind them but I was hoping to have more of a variety - especially when it was about 30 Liras. There were a few small shrimp and calamari but overall wasn't too impressed.
I had the stuffed calamari which was grilled and filled with cheese and herbs. It was tasty but felt a bit greasy and didn't seem anything too special. I had a bit of my friends aubergine and meatballs which looked really good but lacked a bit of flavour. I also tried the vegetarian casserole and it was good but also a bit too greasy with oil.
I can't really compare it to other restaurants in the area but compared to other restaurants I've been to in Turkey - it really is just ehh. read more
