Hands down, the most dynamic building on SFSU's campus. It doesn't seem that interesting, but trust me when I say this building IS. Majority of the student organizations are found here because all the ASI and Ethnic Student Orgs are along the almost depot-ish area aka "death row" (lol - that's what the other orgs call that area), mezzanine, and terrace levels. The Rosa Parks rooms, Jack Adams Hall as well as the richard oakes multi cultural center are great for renting out for your student orgs. Rigoberta Menchu Hall and the study room connected to ROMC are both great as study areas to relax - you can also rent out Menchu to hold events. There are so many places to sit and chill with friends, catch up on hw, or take a nap. What else is there in this building? So many resources! Project Connect, EROS, the Women's center, the BOOKSTORE, everything is here! Some of the best eateries as well such as Cafe 101, Ike's Sandwiches, Pizza & Pasta, Natural Sensations, Taqueria Girasol etc. The pool tables "Rack-n-Cue", the Depot/Pub are in the downstairs area along with the arcade are all downstairs for some recreational fun. There's always events going on in the Malcolm X Plaza just outside of the building and it's just the place to be! This building was made FOR students, BY students and is RUN by THE STUDENTS. All input is requested for this building and nothing is done without an opinion from the students by the ASI Board Members. I just love this entire building so much because I'm in here the most. read more
