Hi Folks, I hope my review guides you to decide where you…read moreshould go to learn French and where you shouldn't!I was sent there by ORP to improve my French. My 1st impression was great. The location is amazing, you're at the heart of the city.Once I stepped into Voxea,I was welcomed by the staff with a smiling face and they offered some sweets. The rooms are equipped & clean if this info help you to improve your French! 1st week,we had 2 top class teachers who are so passionate about teaching. We felt fortunate to have those excellent teachers who gave us their bests by exceeding our expectation. But,this illusion has not lasted long.Suddenly, they assigned a new instructor Christelle Boutoille who has no ability engaged with the people and who has lack of fundamental skills to be a teacher!I'm sure that she has all those skills only on the paper but when it comes putting all those skills into practice, she is the worst! After this change, the quality of teaching dramatically dropped. Moreover,we had to continue with her till the end. After a while,we lost our motivation & time due to her old fashion, reactive approach, boring teaching method and most importantly lack of essential skills such as pedagogic formation, interpersonal communication, psychology by empathizing others, handle the problems professionally and time management. We were supposed to get best of it but our time was wasted by her and we spent the days without doing any exercise.Btw,this was my 2nd course and it was my last chance to improve my French. Therefore,we want to get 100% of this course and aimed to improve our French! All we wanted is to see a proactive and passionate teacher who is able to use the time more efficiently and who can step to the board with a pen by answering our questions rather than sitting her chair all day without moving her finger, ignoring our concerns.Basically, she was only focused to follow given structure to finish her shift!Even though, she was always failing to finish it on time. That was the main difference between her and other 2 top-class passionate teachers. For example with Beata, whilst we were following the predetermined topics we were enjoying the course by getting her best. Later on,we decided to share our opinions with her.We expressed our concerns and expectations verbally/written.However,our feedback wasn't taken seriously by Dominique Van Bogaer who is responsible for Pédagogique FLE.We were advised that we must accept the terms&conditions and adapt to teacher. It was a shame that to provide a peaceful environment must be his duty.Unfortunately, this guy put his own duties on our shoulders without bringing a solution. On the other hand, she was creating more issues to increase the tension systematically.Once, she started to threaten and intimidate me by staring at me without saying a word!Literally, there was a hostile climate and you could feel this until your bones.Another example, she had shown the same attitude to my friend who came to say hi to us in the break time. But my friend was dismissed from the room by her.Another example,we were supposed to do some exercise by listening to an audio. However, the instucter didn't let us listen to it until the end.She kept stopping, reversing, forwarding the audio like a DJ!That made impossible to follow the whole context.I took my courage and asked her to replay it without interruption. This understandable request caused a discussion in public like always she did. And,I was accused of being rude and aggressive which isn't true. The problem was the language barrier and she wasn't able to see it.How can I express myself with 200 words in French?I tried to explain my French doesn't let me to express myself and having a limited vocabulary obviously made me nervous and this was too simple to interpret. Then,I offered to speak in Spanish/English to express myself in a polite way to avoid misunderstanding. But,she didn't even try to read my body language.Unfortunately the situation managed very amateurishly.According to only one side's statement, they decided cancel my course without further investigating although there were witnesses who contradict the exact opposite.I insisted on carry on my course by proposing a few solutions. But,as they had no willing to solve the problem, they refused all solutions that I put forward. What is sad is that I was also threatened that if I comeback to Voxea, they will call the police to kick me out.As it is seen, they decided to solve the problem by getting rid of me.Long story short, now you have a clear idea about Voxea.Definitely, they deal with the same situation differently and professionally if you're a private client. But if you're sent by ORP,you may find yourself in the same situation. They may treat you very badly as I was treated.Lastly,I'm considering to consult a lawyer to make an official complaint. Please think twice before taking a course at Voxea and if you decided to go there you accept their double standards, unfair treatment and inhumain approach.

I don't think I could have a better teacher, either of French or of any other subject. If you want…read moreto be in a class that is welcoming, engaging, geared to your needs, then LeBosquet French class is the class for you.
