I was part of a study abroad through Arizona State Univeristy to UNIL. The campus was wonderful, especially all the policies in place for promoting sustainability! They even use what I called 'furry lawnmowers' (sheep from a local shepherd grazes on the university's green spaces). The building known as the 'castle' is quite lovely with many remarkable architectural elements. If I could go there for graduate school, I'd jump at the chance. The people who work in the international relations department made sure the students from ASU had a worthwhile learning experience. read more
