Initially everything seemed in order. They accepted the work. As the date approached, they did not contact us to confirm our paint colours, the total cost and what time the painter(s) would arrive. We attempted to contact Pure Painters in order to confirm all of this, not once but four times. It was not until the last time that we received any response. The owner confirmed that a painter was scheduled for the NEXT DAY and requested that we email him the details regarding paint and contact information and that he would answer all of our questions then. He never responded. However, a painter did show up the next day, but we would have appreciated knowing what time to have expected him. The painter was a credit to the organization. He worked hard and did a good job. The owner called us two days after the job was complete, asking if we needed anything painted. He didn't even recognize that we were existing clients that had already tried to work with him. I told him that the job was complete, we were happy with the painter and his work, but that we were unhappy and frustrated with his level of communication. He told us that he found it frustrating to work with customers that would "call him 20 times looking for confirmation". He inferred that we harassed him by trying to tell him the colours we wanted, asking how much the job would cost in total and asking when would the painter arrive. Needless to say we were not impressed with the rudeness and poor level of customer service. Avoid Pure Painters!!!

To start, the estimate was very comprehensive and well thought out. Destin was punctual and professional and unhurried. Communication continued in the same manner throughout the job, and also at follow-up. We hired his team to wash and touch up our well cared for 115 year old house. The end result was more than we expected. It looks as though the whole house has been fully repainted. A few points about their process that made all the difference to our experience: Punctual. They arrived every day when expected, and shut down at the end of the day when expected. Clean up. Each day they did a great job gathering their materials and putting everything in a compact pile in an area that allowed us to use the outside area of the yard freely. On the last day, it was as if they had not even been there. Safety. Fully suited in clean painting PPE, and masks and respirators when needed, even in the heat of the season. Respectful. There was no blaring radio, no yelling, no swearing. (!) The guys all spoke to each other in a very friendly, calm and respectful way. They were really a pleasure to have at the house. Excellent work, excellent experience.

We had PLE quote and paint both the exterior and interior of our house. The cost of the job was…read morearound $28k - not pennies. Sadly, the exterior paint was not up to par. We communicated with Jay and he ensured us that they would make it right the following summer of 2021. That did not happen. We sent PLE another high end job hoping that this would entice them to do the right thing. Summer of 2022 and emails later - nothing was done. We thought about emailing them again but two summers have passed and given their past excuses - decided to write an honest review instead. If they get it right the first time - great job. If you need anything touched up - not reliable and feels like they took the money and ran.
