After signing my contract it took almost 2 weeks for anyone to follow up to schedule my job. Painters sprayed both supply filters to my HVAC unit with paint completing occluding them in mid-July. They also had the back door open, it was covered with plastic for the most part, but causing my A/C unit to work constantly, trying to pull air through the supply vents that had filters completely covered with pain. Paint was left everywhere, because they sprayed as well as the HVAC vent was replaced in the ceiling over the kitchen sink with no screws to hold it in. That evening I contacted the office and asked that the painters not return the next day. I was told that the project manager would be with them to address any issues. When they finished the project on the second day and asked me to walk the work I found numerous places that were obvious to the naked eye and myself (not a professional painter). I contacted the office during this time asking where the project manager was that I had been assured would be there. Apparently he had came that day, but made to effort to let me know who he was so I did not know he was the project manager. I was also told that the sales person would contact me by 10 am to schedule a time to come by since I was so unhappy with the work, it was almost 11 before I heard from her. She did come by later and walked through the house with me (after the first walk though) and noted all of the poor drywall repair that had been painted over. She left with instructions to the workers to make repairs she and I had discussed. After the 2nd walk through, the workers make more corrections to the work. At the 3rd walk through I told them it was fine and had them leave. I had contacted the office at this point and informed them that I was through walking with the workers and very unhappy with the poor quality work I continued to find that they were not seeing. The workers had damaged a corner downstairs, I had pointed out the damage as well as the poor repair through the other 2 walk throughs as well as to the sales person, this corner was not damaged before they started and is still damaged. After they left I let my dogs out only to find AFTER letting them out that for some reason the workers had been in my back yard and left the gate to my fence open. I then had to spend 20 minutes chasing a family members dog that was able to escape through the gate before I could close it. When I came back in and was closing the window treatments I realized that the workers had scratched the rod while removing it (I told them I would remove it, but because of the size asked if they would help. They said when they got there they would let me know.) After seeing the work my husband contacted the company to set up a time for the owner and sales person to walk through the house with him (I no longer wanted to company to come back to our home). They did and agreed that a poor job was done in our home and would send a crew back the next day to make the necessary repairs. The next day a crew did return and spent a good bit of time addressing our multiple issues. After they left we are still finding what I consider to be poor quality work. While returning furniture to its place we have found numerous outlets that were painted around except for the bottom where you can't see unless you get down to plug something in. Trim is painted around the edges with the wall paint, not trim paint, that can't be seen unless you turn on a light. Hinges were completely painted. They did replace our HVAC filters, have our unit checked and replace the rod, however we still paid the full contract amount even with all the inconvenience and less than professional work. The office staff and sales staff (even the workers) are very nice, but the quality of work, attention to detail and respect for your home and belongings is not worth the stress. We hired this company even though they were higher than other contractors because we felt we were hiring a professional company that would provide superior work, that was not the case. read more
