Couldn't be any more of a nice guy but that isnt why I think hes literally the best guy for your job. Every other roofer wants to up sell and make you pay for things that you may not need or could be purchased for cheaper. That wasnt the case with me because my roof isnt old enough to need replacement but it was leaking to my surprise. In one area only and just when it downpours. Rather then selling me a new roof he came to my house inspected the area found a small hole in my flashing and fixed it. I asked how much and he said nothing. Took 5 mins. You really think im gonna call someone else when it comes time to replace. Definitely would recommend this company to anyone who wants an honest roofer.

The best thing about working with Paint Philly is Andrew. He is such an excellent and responsive…read morecommunicator. He spent time with me on the phone, explaining the whole process and how thorough his team planned to be. He explained how they would handle fixtures and multiple coats of paint. We talked about different levels (quality) of paint and he advised me about the right kind and then Sherwin Williams ran out so he gave me a free paint upgrade! He even advised me about lead paint risk in my home and how to protect our family. And then he came back with the most competitive quote of all the painters that I got quotes from! When it came to the actual job, they delivered. Right on time and we love our new freshly painted home. There were some minor snafus during the job (a small miscommunication about one of the rooms, a broken light switch cover) but Andrew went above and beyond to make it right. With the Amazon gift card he sent me, I can get 25 light switch covers. He personally visited the property when the job was done to make sure it was up to snuff and sent his staff back the next day to make it absolutely perfect. They finished on time as planned and we were able to move in the next day. Would 100% choose Paint Philly again!

I really wanted to be able to write a glowing review of this painting business, especially since…read morethey came highly rated however, they fell short of my expectations. Mike the owner was very personable and came for an estimate in a timely manner. I walked around my home with him and discussed what I was interested in having done, which was checking areas for rotted wood, replacing what was damaged and painting the entire exterior of my house. His quote came within a week and it was the most reasonable of the three that I received. We scheduled a time for the job which unfortunately fell while we were out of town. In hindsight it may have been better had we been present. After our return, I walked around and noticed a lot of spilled paint, splotches of paint and sloppy workmanship. There were also some areas where painting was missed. I did notify the owner and he sent his painter back to "clean up" these areas and he did his best to rectify all off the splotches, however he forgot some as well. Also, when I asked about the missed paint on the roof line he told me that it wouldn't stick because it was covered with roofing adhesive. My husband wanted to check for himself, so a few days later he got up on a ladder and hand brushed the areas. Sure enough, the paint adhered. He even found that there was rotted wood on the window frame that was just painted over. Had they known this when they were doing the work, I should have at least gotten some notification for a possible repair. Mike seems like a nice guy, however the painter he assigned to my home did a sub-par job. When I texted him about my husband checking and touching up the paint, there was no response. I gave 3 stars because this is a locally owned business. Otherwise I would have given less
