This location is situated in the mall area of the Shops of North Bridge. There is parking in the 516 N Rush parking facility. Access to the currency exchange is just outside of Nordstrom, across from the Jellycat plushy store. You can access Nordstrom from the parking facility. You have to take the escalator to the top, then go through the store to the mall. The currency exchange itself is a small enclosed area. The young woman, Tricha, who took care of me and The Queen was super nice and very careful when it came to counting out our money. She was great. She explained the exchange rate and carefully told us how much we had requested in pesos and counted it out in a slow manner so we could see each bill being counted out. She also explained the process for us to return any money not spent in Mexico to get back dollars. The exchange rates and service were very good and this will be my go to for exchanging dollars to foreign currency.

In my…read morecase, I needed a transit card while in Chicago to ride the bus as opposed to paying ridiculous fees for parking while downtown. This place has been in this location since I was a kid. There are some upgrades and the same ploy to relieve you of your coins if you are cashing a check, using the western union service or any of the other myriad of services they offer. During a peak time only two people were working and I use the term working loosely. The mentality that this may be some people's only option shouldn't warrant poor service. When people learn to trust banks and credit unions they may opt to divorce currency exchanges.

Without even looking at my paperwork I was told "The system for transferring titles has been down all weekend." I doubted that. Funny enough I went to a location on Chicago Ave. the same afternoon and was done in about 20 min. Best part is I thanked the girl at Chicago Ave. for helping me since I'd been turned away. She asked where. She told me that was their sister store! She complained to the district mgr. for me! Skip this location and go to Chicago Ave. You'll get courtesy, professionalism and customer service there.

I called this place 3 times; Once to find out if they notarize documents - the answer was yes and it's $1.00 per page. The 2nd call was to make sure the Notary was in on Wed July 16th. The answer was yes, from 7 to 3. The 3rd call was the morning of 7-16 to confirm that the notary was in fact in, and they I could come in. The answer was yes. I arrive, pull out the documents and my driver's license, and the arrogant girl who is apparently the notary, asked me what type of documents they were. I said signature pages for my closing. She goes to call someone on the phone and comes back and says; "We don't notarize real estate documents." So after wasting 15 minutes trying to maneuver around the insane corner in order to pull into their parking lot, a lot that can only accommodate 3 cars TOTAL, and nearly impossible to get to unless you come from the east down a side street, I wasted my time. Here's a clue to the owner of this hell hole; HAVE YOUR MISERABLE NOTARY TELL THE CUSTOMER INQUIRING ABOUT NOTARIZED DOCUMNETS THAT YOU DO NOT NOTARIZE REAL ESTATE DOCUMENTS SO THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T WASTE THEIR TIME!!

Service has always been prompt and cordial (not overly friendly, but hey its a currency exchange not a diner.) I've used this location for vehicle stickers, change, etc. Parking is limited but available in a small lot out back that consists of a couple spots (4 I believe) but can be a little tricky to maneuver.
