Noord is a concept and design store in Frankfurt's Nordend and it is my favorite. They carry local designer's goods... including everything from posters to mugs to jewelry. I can't stand when people say "Ohhhhh that is an Instagram pretty place" (really, is your life that fake and contrived??), but Noord is an Instagram pretty place. But what it is most is local and a place that supports the small guys fighting in a sea of Ikeas and corporations. The service at Noord is attentive and knowledgeable about the products they sell. This means a lot for mindful buyers like myself. Definitely a must-visit in Frankfurt for those loving design and getting behind the concept itself and supporting the local and small guys.

It's night and day…read moredifference and this one is way better with much more selection and the store looks excellent and well kept. This place has many things besides carpet like bath accessories, curtains, flooring, decorations for the home and garden and tons of other home decor items. It's set over a two floors and there are a good amount of staff at hand to help you. We went here looking for a larger rug for the living room and came back with a whole lot more. The guy who helped us was very nice and friendly and helped us pack our cart in the shop. There was a big sale on this weekend and the car park was full but it's big enough to be able to find a space. The selection was good and prices were also quite ok. The sale prices helped of course but we were out of there within the hour without fighting the crowds at IKEA nearby ;-)) I would definitely come here again. It's a good store for many household items including rugs.
