Many notaries in Westwood are unreliable as notarizing is really a part-time side deal, rather than their main business. Several are attached to law firms, copying services, or other vaguely related businesses. Usually only one or two staff are notaries, and their hours are unpredictable. I have even seen a couple businesses continue listing notary services when they seem to have no notaries on staff. Century Documents is different. Notarizing is a main focus of their business and they take it seriously. Some documents (Powers of Attorney, wills) may need to be witnessed as well by a disinterested third party. For a $5 surcharge, Century Documents can usually provide a third-party witness as well. Prices are quite reasonable, and the notary is professional and very pleasant. Scam Alert! Do not use this woman Not professional at all. This has been by far our worst nightmare. If you are looking to waste time and money so you are at the right place!! Lilian seems to be the only person at this company and just wasted my time, I hired her 2 YEARS ago based on positive reviews here on Yelp and now it's been 2 years and this case is still not done. the court denied the paperwork she did. time wasted going back and forth over misspellings, many other mistakes. And she asked for more money even though I already paid the payment in full, blaming me on more time she had to spend for all the mistake she made. she didn't even filed a publication which I paid for and she refuses to give a full refund. She admits that she's not qualified to do the work but she never apologized for all the wasted time, and no money back. Totally unethical! She shouldn't have offered the service in the first place. Give my $300 back scammer! I'm pretty positive she even lied on her website saying "We are experienced individuals who are licensed, bonded, insured and authorized to prepare legal documents for customers at customer's direction" Do yourself a favor and stay away! read more

QUICK and EASY and POLITE NOTARY SERVICE -- I found Century Documents on googlemaps and I emailed them, along with two different notary locations at the same time. Lilian got back to me VERY quickly, and she was ver polite and stated her hours, which were pretty much All Day. The other two companies did not return my email until a day later. When I went there, the woman was helping someone else, and it looked as though their paperwork was going to take a while. As she got the other person started, she sat me at another table, and came to help me. I was glad I didn't have to wait for the first person to finish. I thought this was VERY prompt and I appreciated the service. Although my interaction with her was short, she was very nice. Notary services cost $10 per signature, which i was happy to pay.
