Let me start of by saying that out of the 2 years I have taken my almost 2 year old to hospitals/clinics this clinic was the most unprofessional place from front desk workers, to the nurse to the doctor. I'm not sure if it's due to handling a toddler that it might have been a different circumstance for the bad behavior but it's no excuse to be very unprofessional. I voiced my concerns and the nurse just ignored me. I over heard him say "Goodluck" to the doctor for asking questions, as a concerned mother would. As soon as the doctor walks in, very bad behavior it seemed like he was forced to go in there and automatically wanted to put my son under Anastasia for a few kicks that he did by checking his foot as any toddler would if somebody is grabbing his foot. The doctor didn't even bother to talk to him to ease into it or anything of that sort. He really listens to me and gives me all the options available for my treatment. I know it's been a long road to complete recovery but I feel so much better since I started coming. He's also interested in your overall well-being. He gave me a referral for another provider for another condition I have and made sure to follow up with me to see how that was helping. During my first converstation with me, she lied repeatedly saying my last visit with the doctor never happened and that the previously agreed to services I had been waiting on for over a month were not ordered and would not be ordered. I kept trying to explain why she was mistaken and she cut me off at every sentence and immediately told me I need to find a new doctor and hung up on me. I tried reasoning with her during 4 separate phone calls and each time, she cut me off every time i opened my mouth, name called me saying i was "acting childish" for trying to clarify the issues we were not agreeing on when she decided she was done speaking about it, and then hung up on me 4 out of 4 calls. I conveyed all this info to the doctor and even sent him proof that she was blatantly lying about my no longer being covered with workers comp (which is not even possible in the state of texas anyway) and instead of addressing this unprofessional and negligent behavior, Dr. Onosode chose to ignore it and leave me without care.
