Just under a 15 minute drive from my house made this an easy choice. Very easy in and out off of Hempstead Tpke heading west. A big difference from the old Trip-Tik days. I checked in with the receptionist, explained what I needed, gave her my plates then waited just a few minutes before seeing the representative who gave me the official form for my insurance company. Piece of cake visit. It was easy to complete my task and every here is extremely easy to work with. The new DMV is amazing. Just don't do it. The nastiest group of people I've every had to deal with. Like a classic bait and…read moreswitch, they reel you in with a very competitive rate in exchange for the nastiest attitudes and horrible customer service. Not only left because of them jacking up rate for a no fault claim from a hit and run, but glad to not have to deal with them or burden them anymore with anything since they are obviously a group of miserable people who hate their jobs. Canceling my policy was such a struggle with them, they literally tried to rip me to shreds before doing so. I just got off the phone with them because I sent a request to cancel and it was never done. I got the worst attitude and even one of the agents made a very rude comment about me moving and needing to switch my insurance and registration which is a normal procedure. I am appalled. Do some research and find somewhere else.
