Periodontist demands (no option) patient see other specialists in practice to drum up business. 3. Said receptionist assured me my insurance would cover procedure (I got "all" the codes from her and called my insurance to make sure), then when in chair for appointment, was informed their lab does not participate with Blue Cross Blue Shield so my bill would be much higher. 4. Untimely return phone calls in response to request to make an appointment. 5. Once appointment made, received multiple call backs from said incompetent, offensive receptionist on behalf of Periodontist demanding I make appointment for another (optional) evaluation with a different specialist in their practice. 6. Untimely response to request for predetermination estimate -- took months, excuses, and multiple requests for them to submit predetermination estimate request to my new insurance. 7. Multiple bills mailed to me prior to insurance response. 8. When there was a problem with my old insurance covering procedure, instead of sending an updated bill to me, said incompetent, offensive receptionist called and threatened to turn my account over to a collection agency. I paid immediately and changed insurance companies, but months later receptionist continued to bring up "issues with insurance". Don't go to this clinic -- you'll regret it. Too bad Payne, Berkheim and Gwen are demanding, offensive and incompetent, because Shawn is a great periodontal hygienist.

He spent the right amount of time asking questions and checking out exactly where the pain is and exactly what's causing my particular kind of TMJ.
