This is another handy newsagents along the Headrow. Back when I was a smoker it seemed impossible to me to ever find cigarettes at a reasonably close distance - no matter where I was in the city a newsagents always seemed to be miles away, until I realised that these guys existed. They are in a handy spot, since I'd say that this street and Briggate are the two main shopping streets of Leeds so be it a nice cold drink or indeed a pouch of tobacco, you are never too far away from saviour.
From their signage you can glean the impression that they are trying to be the smooth mac daddy of newsagents, but let's face it, there isn't much inside that makes it a superior newsy experience over any of the other places near by. For my money I prefer to go to the central news stall outside the new big Sainsburys, since the lady there is so totally Yorkshire and dry humoured!
