I would not recommend moving all day on a Saturday then seeking emergency dental help on Sunday, but if like me you find yourself in this position let me save you the panicked hour of calling dozens of supposed "emergency 24hr dentists" who never answer the phone or return your call and whose automated phone systems send you in a sysphian loop of pressing 1, and just tell you: there is this dentist in Ahuntsic who will see you if you get there before 1pm. He has a nice smile and calm, professional manner. His receptionist and hygenist make you feel kindly and competently cared for. Despite being in a humble and bedraggled building, the office is clean and comfortable and not at all alarming. I was seen within 15 minutes, carefully examined and X-ray'd, had the details of my slightly bizarre and sudden situation explained to me in a way that I could understand even through the move-and-tooth-pain brain state, and then he did the mini surgery on the spot. I felt no pain throughout, he checked in with me often so I didn't get the panics, and it took under half an hour all together. He carefully explained the prescriptions, and even though it was emergency pricing it cost a lot less than I had feared.
