Also purchased two snack bars for the 40 minute train ride back to Copenhagen. JFK is a modern coffee house on a corner with dark woods and lots of windows. Clean restrooms. Conveinently located on the walk between Fredriksborg Castle and the Hillerod Train Station.

The coffee ended up being good. The service not. We checked in and paid by card for food and…read moredrink. It seemed confusing but the machine said charge approved, remove card. I asked one of the staff if all was ok, they said yes, gave me a token to wait. We waited quite awhile then checked back. They said no order had gone through yet I had my claim number. What really bothered me was not the mistake but how I was treated. I had to repurchase (hoping I was not now billed twice) and waited again. No effort to move things along. We missed our train as a result. Bad service. Good coffee.

Their WI-Fi works fine and to the best of my knowledge they do not limit you on time. It only has so much space inside and some tables outside so hopefully their is enough for everyone. The help is friendly and their English is good to help make sure that you get what you want.

In America, we live near a bakery called "Copenhagen Bakery", and we enjoy getting pastries there…read morefrom time to time. Going to Fru Bjergs Conditori has ruined the bakery for us. My wife and I got some dessert here after we saw the castle, and it was amazing. After we ordered, my wife took a bite and told me the icing was very good. I laughed and told her all icing was the same, just sugary and usually crunchy. When I took a bite, it truly was amazing. The icing melts in your mouth and has the perfect amount of sweetness. The pastry itself was flaky, and though it didn't have much filling, it didn't need it to be truly delectable. Everything about it was perfect. I have never tasted a pastry this delicious. We only spend a day in Helsingør, and though we looked for more pastries in Copenhagen, we never found one quite as good as these. I can't wait to go to Denmark to have these again.

The ladies behind the counter were patient, kind, and, of course, spoke perfect English. You can also sit and sip coffee/tea inside the bakery, but we got our food to go.

My parents split one little jug of coffee which came with milk and sugar on the side. Their kringlor or traditional ring - shaped baked item were very flavorful. Order and pay in the front and then sit inside and have your choices delivered by the staff. Very relaxing and smart system! Day-old bags of buns available for reasonable prices.

They offer all sorts of breads and pastries, desserts, a few salads and sandwiches, as well as hot drinks (kaffe, cafe latte, espresso) and bottled cold drinks (chocolate milk, orange juice, etc.). The interior is clean, bright, and spacious. There are six tables that can seat 3-4 and a small bar seating area that can hold 6. Like many other places in Varberg, I cannot recommend Brödhörnan for a coffee, but the cake I had was excellent and it was a pleasure to enjoy the sun in late September. If you like a cake or anything sweet from a proper bakery, Brödhörnan is a place you should not miss!
