I recently took the ACLS/PALS/BLS combo recertification course offered at CVME and boy am I thankful that I chose this location! These classes are typically long and uninspiring, most healthcare professionals likely dread having to take the days off work and spend the money to renew these certifications. Not only that, but sometimes instructors who teach these courses are lackluster, or even mean and hard on you which makes no sense. That was NOT my experience here, thankfully. I had the BEST experience! Kevin and Daniel were heartfelt, committed, clearly passionate about what they do, encouraged participation and active learning, made the content interesting and enjoyable, were incredibly supportive, and made sure we had all of the information we needed to succeed in the course. The ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful as well. Great vibes here. I would highly recommend coming here for your ACLS/PALS/BLS needs. I drove two hours each way to the Madera location, and I'm so glad I did. I plan to return to take other courses in the near future. My girls had a great time and learned a lot at Central Valley medical's Safesitter class! They got CPR and first aid training too! This is the only location in the Fresno/Madera area that offers the Safesitter classes to get your tween/teen ready to start their babysitting business. If you do have them attend the class make sure to prepare them for the lunch break because it's about 6hrs long. There isn't a waiting room so you may be waiting in your car if you're driving from far away. You can also walk and shops and the stores near by. The staff here is warm, hospitable and even have snacks for their students. Registering was easy and fast. I will for sure be back when my younger kids age up! read more

Recently attended a ACLS refresher course. Claude is a HORRIBLE instructor, if I can even call him that. Taught the class nothing. It was just 6 straight hours of listening to his "war" stories. It was so bad, chose to not show up for my PALS class the following day. I sure hope everyone who attended the class was confident in their abilities to run a code, prior to this class.... Renewing your ACLS/PALS can creep on you quick and it happens to me every time. As usual, I went online to find an available day that works with my schedule and signed up. I've gone to Central Valley Medical before to renew all my certifications since I moved here and have had nothing but positive experiences! Claude is my favorite instructor and always enjoy listening to his crazy stories so it was a pleasure to sit through his class. I needed to get ACLS certified and my co-workers had referred me to this place I went back in Aug 2020. I was able to go on their website and self schedule an appointment last minute. They offer a variety of classes and certifications. Which includes ACLS, PALS, BLS, initial or renewals. Although, I'm only required to renew my certification every 2 years coming to these educational with skills and test certifications always gives me anxiety. But thankfully this place was literally stress-free. When I arrived they practiced social distancing and mask required upon entry. The workers were very welcoming and nice. They offered snacks and beverages. The instructors made learning fun and they taught in a way it was easy to understand. Our instructor would call out to someone in class for an answer to a question but there literally was no judgements and even if you got the answer wrong they didn't make you feel stupid. It's a great, open, friendly learning environment. I would recommend this place. You will also get your certification cards emailed to you the same day. Class is lively, humorous, and educational. I had previous class experience with Kevin and he was great too! Pro- easy to sign-up for courses, friendly staff, provides pencils for test, provides beverages such as coffee and water bottles, provides candy as a small snack, has two available bathrooms. Has hand-on medical equipment, e-cards are sent to you by the end of the day as a PDF form. Tips: bring book, bring paper to take notes, extra parking behind building, *do not park in nearby businesses*, setting up to obtain your E-Card....save your security answer because maybe difficult to obtain if lost password and security question.
