If you're a healthcare professional or entering healthcare and need certification or continuing education in the Central Valley, this is the place I recommend. They offer a wide range of courses, including HeartCode CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and other healthcare education. They also offer TNCC when a group of six or more can be organized, LVN IV therapy courses, and a newer CNA program. For BLS, ACLS, and PALS, they offer both initial and renewal courses. One of my favorite options is the combination ACLS/PALS course with a BLS challenge. For healthcare professionals who have to maintain multiple certifications every couple of years, being able to handle them efficiently through one organization is extremely convenient. The owner, Kevin, is a fantastic instructor. He knows the material extremely well but, more importantly, knows how to teach it. Robert and Daniel are also excellent instructors, and the office staff has always been friendly and helpful. What really separates Central Valley Medical from other places I've taken healthcare courses is the learning environment. It is stress-free, low-pressure, and judgment-free. Topics like ACLS and PALS can be intimidating, particularly for someone taking them for the first time, but the instructors make the material approachable without sacrificing the quality of the education. Whether you're brand new to healthcare or an experienced clinician renewing a certification you've held for years, you're treated with respect. They have locations in both Madera and Fresno, and the instructors work between the two, so I've found the quality to be consistent regardless of which location I use. The facilities themselves are comfortable and temperature-controlled, parking is easy, and they have small snacks available during classes. You can also bring your own food or coffee, which is convenient when you're going to be there for a longer course. The facility is also accessible for people with mobility needs. After going here for years, I really don't have a reason to take my certification courses anywhere else. I am a little upset about a comment that was made during one of the CPR class on 6-6-2026 One of the instructors made a comment stating that a selfish person had soon a certain company and that the business that they sued is no longer in business because of this selfish person apparently the instructor of this class doesn't know the situation of the incident at hand the instructor is paid to instruct the class on CPR not to give his comments on what he feels or thinks about incidents he was not involved in I feel that the instructor needs to be reprimanded for the comments that he made and that he apologize for the comments that you made in that class Everyone has an opinion his opinion is to himself he doesn't need to share with the rest of the class read more

My girls had a great time and learned a lot at Central Valley medical's Safesitter class! They got CPR and first aid training too! This is the only location in the Fresno/Madera area that offers the Safesitter classes to get your tween/teen ready to start their babysitting business. If you do have them attend the class make sure to prepare them for the lunch break because it's about 6hrs long. There isn't a waiting room so you may be waiting in your car if you're driving from far away. You can also walk and shops and the stores near by. The staff here is warm, hospitable and even have snacks for their students. Registering was easy and fast. I will for sure be back when my younger kids age up! read more

Renewing your ACLS/PALS can creep on you quick and it happens to me every time. As usual, I went online to find an available day that works with my schedule and signed up. I've gone to Central Valley Medical before to renew all my certifications since I moved here and have had nothing but positive experiences! Claude is my favorite instructor and always enjoy listening to his crazy stories so it was a pleasure to sit through his class. I needed to get ACLS certified and my co-workers had referred me to this place I went back in Aug 2020. I was able to go on their website and self schedule an appointment last minute. They offer a variety of classes and certifications. Which includes ACLS, PALS, BLS, initial or renewals. Although, I'm only required to renew my certification every 2 years coming to these educational with skills and test certifications always gives me anxiety. But thankfully this place was literally stress-free. When I arrived they practiced social distancing and mask required upon entry. The workers were very welcoming and nice. They offered snacks and beverages. The instructors made learning fun and they taught in a way it was easy to understand. Our instructor would call out to someone in class for an answer to a question but there literally was no judgements and even if you got the answer wrong they didn't make you feel stupid. It's a great, open, friendly learning environment. I would recommend this place. You will also get your certification cards emailed to you the same day. Has hand-on medical equipment, e-cards are sent to you by the end of the day as a PDF form. Tips: bring book, bring paper to take notes, extra parking behind building, *do not park in nearby businesses*, setting up to obtain your E-Card....save your security answer because maybe difficult to obtain if lost password and security question.
