TMI review... be prepared…read more.. Sooo, I've been wanting to do this for years now and regret I didn't do it sooner. I was scared and didn't know much about it. I would look it up here and there and read other people's experiences and watch their videos. We started eating healthier and wanted to do a detox. From juicing to teas and diets we never felt that full cleanse in our body. Finally, I felt that I had enough knowledge in my research and felt brave. I called the number listed on Yelp and I spoke with Marisa. She seemed very friendly and her schedule was very flexible. She asked for the day and time I wanted and she gave me a few options of her opened days and times. I was going to set it one week out, but luckily she had an open the day after I called. Her office was easy to find and it was very clean. It smelled like there was a diffuser on with an essential oil in it. It was very soothing. When I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly hello. She had me fill out some forms while I took a seat. She went to the back to clean and set up. After I was done with the forms, she brought me to the back. She explained what I was going to lay on and what was going to be hooked up and how the whole process was going to work. I went to the restroom and undressed from the waist down and put on a folded gown. The restroom was clean and plenty of room. Once I was undressed, I laid on the bed. She had left a heating pad on so I wouldn't be cold. Told me step by step what she was doing so I wouldn't have any surprises. The whole process was so crazy to me. To see the stuff that was passing through. After around 10-15 mins. I felt like my bloating had flattened. I'm pretty regular and I don't have problems going to the restroom, but to still see all that nasty stuff come out was shocking! She gave a lot of information and was very patient with me. She didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all!! She was attentive and with her calming voice it made me feel more relaxed. The process didn't hurt, I had only a little bit of cramping and a little bit of chills. It was tolerable. You will feel the fullness when warm water goes in and relieved when it gets flushed. She is in the room with you the entire time. She controls the water, but you are the one that tells her when your are ready and when to stop. She also tells you when something passes through. After being done, I feel such relief releasing everything! I felt like I had more energy. I usually come home moody because of work and because I'm hungry. I usually eat a snack before dinner. I came home full of energy, more relaxed and was craving a salad! I feel super relaxed right now. I'm usually on the go and write my reviews when I'm in the passenger seat in a car. I'm actually sitting on my couch relaxing!! I'm waiting to see how I feel tomorrow to see when to schedule another session. I'm actually pretty excited because now I know what to expect. I even lost 6 pounds! She has magnet therapy and ear candling that I would love to try soon! Can't wait to go back! I've already referred 7 people!!

Surgery is a stressful experience under the best of circumstances and surgeons can be a stoic lot…read more I know because I have had a few surgeries in my time. My recent surgery to repair an inguinal hernia was performed by Dr. Russel Martin, and I can tell you with absolute confidence that it was the easiest surgical experience of my life. Dr. Martin is a very good-natured man who exudes and inspires confidence that clearly comes, not from arrogance, but from experience, genuine skill, and dedication to his profession. All of my questions were answered ... all of my concerns were addressed. Dr. Martin was both patient and articulate. His team in the office and at the hospital (St. Agnes) were top-flight and made me feel very well cared for the entire time. My anesthesiologists were flawless. On a scale of 1-10 my post-op pain level never got past a 4 and my recovery has been rapid (two weeks later I am in the pool swimming laps and feeling fine) I feel none of the common post-op discomfort sometimes caused by the injection of CO2. I am 78 and Dr. Martin, made sure that I was ok for the procedure by sending me to Dr. Khoi Le (also an excellent doctor) for a cardiac clearance. As I said, surgery is stressful, but I can honestly say that Dr. Martin is the best I could hope for, and I remain very satisfied and grateful for his help in improving the quality of my life. If I could award him more stars I certainly would.

I have seen Dr. Farr every 3-6 months for the past three years now. I must say that Dr. Farr is one…read moreof the best doctors that I have ever seen (and I have been to many doctors throughout the years). The difference between Dr. Farr and other doctors is that he actually listens to his patients, is not dismissive, and has compassion. Many other doctors that I have seen are on a high horse and have no interest in hearing details relating to the symptoms that I am experiencing. Dr. Farr takes time to listen and troubleshoots with you regarding what could possibly be going on. Finding the culprit to stomach issues may require different procedures, tests, and times of trial and error with medications. Dr. Farr is very thorough, and finding the problem or the solution may require you to undergo testing or to try different medications to see what works for you and your body. So sometimes it is necessary to take time to try new medications and follow-up with the doctor often to see if the medication had any effect on the symptoms that you are experiencing. For the record, Dr. Farr has never rushed through any of my appointments and has never carelessly sent me off with a random medication that doesn't make sense for my symptoms. Like I stated previously, he takes the time to figure out a plan to address the individual needs of the patient and he goes from there. Additionally, I never feel nervous to see Dr. Farr, as I do with other doctors. I honestly wish more doctors were like him! I would also like to add that the staff at Dr. Farr's office are all very nice and kind.

I ended up establishing care with one of the PAs there, Sam, and he has been excellent. He takes the time to actually remember who I am, remembers details from previous visits, and makes every appointment feel personal rather than rushed. What I appreciate most is how educational and nonjudgmental the conversations are. We've had really good discussions about my overall health, lifestyle, things I'm doing well, and areas where I can improve. It feels collaborative instead of transactional, which is honestly rare to find. Whenever I've brought up issues that are outside the scope of primary care, he has had no problem referring me to specialists, and I also appreciate that he follows up on that care afterward instead of just sending you off and forgetting about it. Overall, I've been very happy with the care I've received here, and I genuinely hope I'm able to continue seeing Sam for a long time. Highly recommend if you're looking for a primary care office in Fresno.

The waiting room was full of different people from all over and all walks of life. The bathroom was clean. This happened September 22 2026. I have some serious health issues and was there for a post ER check up due to extreme pain in my sternum as I have a history of hiatal hernia and esophagitis and they didn't even know why I was there even though I told them and they kept arguing with me stating they wanted to go discuss me getting a fibroscan even though my numbers are super low and at the point of not needing it checked anymore - I still am confused about that. I NEVER ASKED FOR PAIN MEDS! I can't even take them anyway. It's all in my chart. Luckily I was able to switch to a different doctor because the thought of going back to his office makes me scared and sick to my stomach, mind the pun. I've been a patient there for 6 years for three different issues and there is such a high turnover its ridiculous and he overbooks is patients. They don't answer the phone so you have to go in person to ask about simple things that could be handled over the phone and you'll be there for over an hour. Regular appointments take 3 hours. I am so glad I have a new Gastro doctor. Stay clear of this place!! I am planning on complaining to the medical board. He shouldn't be allowed to have his practice.
