It is a beautiful church - with an antique pipe organ and wood carvings, stained glass and stone exterior. There are bells in the tower which need repair and that will cost upwards of $10 000. Instead the church focuses their missions on Recovery, Homelessness, and the community of the Downtown core.
Special events include the interactive children's nativity scene, and Christmas musical celebrations, as well as many infant baptisms yearly and adult full immersion baptism (in a hot tub) during the evening Easter Sunday Service. On the last Sunday of the Stampede a pancake breakfast is hosted on Steven Ave with live music and dancing. There are fellowship events often hosted by the children in the gym and an active Bible study group every Sunday after the morning service called "Feasting on the Word".
