YES! I'm the first English review on Yelp!
Anyway, this little place is located along what's called the Fressgasse (I think that's how you spell it) in Frankfurt. I was starving after a 10-hour flight and two hours of shopping, and I stopped by here for a bite to eat.
Ordered the marinated tofu salad, dressing on the side. Pretty good. In my opinion, the salad really didn't need any dressing at all, as the marinade on the tofu provided more than enough flavor. I sat at one of the outdoor tables to people-watch as I ate my lunch. Seating is first-come, first-served.
Service was prompt and friendly--about halfway through my meal, I happened to look at the menu, where it said in small print: Wir akzeptieren keine Kreditkarte. That was my "oh crap" moment as I didn't have any euros with me, thinking I could pay with a credit card. My server was very understanding and patient as I tried to explain myself in a hybrid of English and German sentences (I lose all ability to speak when slightly embarrassed, apparently), and they kept an eye on my belongings as I ran across the street to pull some cash out of the ATM.
So, casual, cash-only, and friendly. I'd go back next time I'm in Frankfurt. read more
