Wow. Heather doesn't look anything like photos (must be decades old), and doesn't act professional or respectful to client. Upon meeting her she gloated about her knowledge (I was a successful pet sitter/dogwalker/daycare owner for 24 years) and i know more than she does. She isn't interested in loving dogs, only bossing them as to what works for her. "Get new leashes, new collars, get training". Appalling. I advised her how to walk my dogs but she doesn't listen (how could she? She knows it all). Wouldn't work with me, only against me. She is quite disrespectful. And when i asked if she stayed at homes, she said her dog comes with her. That is ridiculous! It's all about her, not about what the client wants. Not a nice person! read more

I have been using Heather Gohde with Central Oregon Pet Care Pros for over 15 years to help care for my pets. At one point we had 3 cats she would take care of when we traveled. Currently we have 1 cat & 2 dogs. Heather came to my house 1 to 2x a week to help me give IV fluids for my elderly cat with kidney failure. This treatment helped to give my cat 2+ extra years of a QUALITY life. At 16yrs when it was time for my cat to go over the 'Rainbow Bridge', Heather was there to hold my hand & loved on my cat in her final moments. I could not have done that without her. Heather is fantastic. Super professional and caring of any situation. Our older cat required certain medicines at certain times of the day. She would arrive early, do a full walkthrough of our home. Heather at Central Oregon Pet Care Pros looked after our elderly cat Baxter for many months. Without her skills and care, we would not have been able to travel. He had chronic kidney disease and needed daily subcutaneous fluids and a lot of pills, liquids and injections, as well as the usual feeding and scooping. When we read online that Heather did medications we immediately called to learn more, and she came over a few days later to meet Baxter and demonstrate her abilities. He was very relaxed with her. She asked lots of good questions about how to care for him and the house. She is very organized. We felt confident leaving him in her care. She sent us daily updates and photos, and we could tell he adored her. I think the feeling was mutual. If I could give a negative number of stars I would!!! My dog had anxiety, but I have NEVER had a sitter as bad as Heather! He was so stressed out after she watched him that he had stomach issues for 3 days. And she constantly sent me high drama texts (your dog almost ate me) that stressed me so much I was a wreck the whole time I was gone. I have had several other pet sitters watch him and have never had an experience like this. Stay away from this service if you care about your dog. read more

Its five years later. Heather still takes care of our pets and we still completely trust her with them and their weird quirkiness. I needed pet care for my son's cat while he was in the hospital. I called Heather on very short notice to help me out. She needed to go to St. Charles hospital and go through the red tape to get the key to my son's home. Immediately she came to the house and visited the kitty. He had already been alone for four days.
