Owner Anthony Duffy thoughtfully met with the donor in advance to assess the piano the student would be receiving. He conducted a thorough inspection and provided helpful background information about the piano maker and model, giving us a better understanding of the instrument. Anthony and his assistant John were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. On the day of the move, they took great care to ensure the piano would fit safely through the kitchen and in the elevator, paying close attention to wall and cabinet corners. The piano was secured and transported in a Bayfront Piano trailer outfitted exclusively for instrument moving. As with Bayfront Piano!! We referred to Bayfront by our well regarded piano tuner. My wife's experience from setting up the appointment and scheduling in a tight moving window on short notice was pleasant and flawless. I must apologize I was under orders NOT to take pictures as my wife did not even want to be watching as her baby (claw & ball mahogany 2004 baby grand Pramberger I bought for her birthday - not saying which one :-) ) was being extracted from one home and delivered to the next about 2 miles away. (I had to take one just now as we are still un-packing and my wife is asleep (snicker) ) She was a wreck the whole time. I suspect the way I felt when my 7 ton sailboat was in the crane straps 30 feet in the air being splashed in the water each season - but I digress) Anthony and his crew skillfully and delicately/surgically maneuvered the 600+ pound instrument and transported it to our home. From tools, fixtures, transports/carts, handling mechanisms, trailer/hitch, vehicles - you can tell this is a well "tuned" mission with military precision, safety, and care. It was also the hottest day so far in 2022 with temps in the 90s and a heat index over 100. What a truly exceptional and wonderful experience. Mike has such a high technical level of expertise, that I didn't for one minute feel the need to have a third party inspect the wonderful piano that he was selling, which is standard practice, I am told. They had interest and offered to pay me and said I would receive a call for pickup from Clark. For a week I kept following up and finally got a note from Greg that the reason Clark didn't call was because plans had changed and they would not be picking it up. Apparently Clark didn't have the decency or integrity to let me know they would not be picking up the piano and with an upcoming house closing this was very upsetting. Thank goodness I spoke with The Piano Guys who have come for the piano. Pritchards Pianos is not recommended for their lack of integrity.
